I don't see how Adele's tour can affect her sales, anyone willing to splash out a crazy amount of money to see her live will already have her album, so mother's day reason for sales boost, expect sales to go down a bit for rest of the week

I suppose also having a second single in the top 10 could also be a contributing factor?

When We Were Young obviously having a massive impact on Adele's continuous domination wub.gif

Amazing for Jess Glynne too in the album chart - aint got far to go clearly keeping it up there!

Exactly - its low peak doesn't matter because it's clearly done its job.

I would probably attribute it to ant and Dec, rather than that limp effort.

Yeah that is more likely as she performed both HMH and DBSHOY

Adele has done so well getting a 2nd top 10 hit off 25 considering the sales of the album before it was released. When we were young is a beautiful song that i would say i prefer to Hello.

Publicity. People sharing clips on Facebook. People talking about how good the gig was. Possibly more radio and tv airplay.

I think it's especially a big achievement considering the people who are most likely to buy the song would've bought the album (since it's very much 'safe ballad' Adele). She could get another top 10 hit if she released a more upbeat song like Send My Love or Water Under the Bridge since they're most likely to appeal to a new audience.

Looks like Lukas Graham could make it six weeks at the top. Hope Sigala can knock that borefest off the top. It could be tough as they'll have the NOW 93 effect to help them score a seventh week at the top

Considering how big the album is to have another top ten hit when more have more or less already got it , is just fantastic ! There is a lot of buzz around this tour in the press and on tv etc no wonder it's heading back to the top! I have tickets for Friday and can't wait ! 😊😊😊

yes, but the single got top 10 cos she performed at the Brits in front of millions... i mean, many artists struggling in the charts don't get that kind of promo...
