Yes of course~ If she's really crap then I'll tune off but I doubt that'll happen considering I didn't get put off by 3 years of Reggie Yates (starting listening in 2010)

Jameela is of course iconic and I'll miss her but I'll carry on listening definitely.

I don't listen for the presenter anyway so it makes no difference. Shame Jameela is leaving so soon though, I did like her (although I hope the new presenter is less repetitive or at least more self aware )

What sort of obsessive Jameela loon would you have to be to pick option #3?!

This is surprising! Was it mentioned on Sunday? Shame the turnover seems to be pretty rapid these days but I'll definitely listen anyway and would do regardless of presenter.

Surely it must be time for a good host? Jameela seemed nice as a person but her presenting skills sucked. I get that it needs to be someone with a personality but they still need to do their job properly. I'll give this Clara a go but I'll just tune out of listening to the chart show if she's similar.

The new bod has got to be better than Jameela and Reggie, almost certainly.
I will still be listening. |

I listen for the chart not the presenter but a return for Mark Goodier would be unreal. I lived through Wes & JK & Joel so Clara should be the same - it's the programme makers that's the problem not the presenters - it's treated like a kids show.
Scott Mills should refuse the radio 2 push and demand the chart show and let him return it to its pride if place!! Fearne mentioned today she recorded Xmas TOTPs!! |

I Youtubed a clip of Clara earlier today and she sounded quite professional when she's conducting interviews with artists and stuff so I have good hope that she'll be decent. I did like Jameela on and off but she does grate on me some of the time sadly and comes across rather amateur (and immature sometimes )still but I did like her so I'll miss her in a way!
I'll still be listening but maybe not every week lol. Espech all the stale lingering tracks in the chart :/ This post has been edited by HonkBonkXMAS: 15th December 2014, 08:15 PM |

I really want Let It Go to stay until she takes over (to see what she thinks of it, it would be nice to be able to hear it on the chart without it being constantly bashed by the presenter).

It's sad that Jameela has stood down. According to The Independent, a recent cancer scare played a part in her decision to leave.
I'm sure Clara Amfo will do a good job in the hot seat. She's replied to one of my Tweets, so she's cool in my books. |
