I've only watched 2 games so far, the opening match and the England match, I'm not really interested in the rest. I'm just watching the England games and I probably watch the final whoever is in it.

Its a shame we have to wait for an extra 6 months to see the next World Cup in Qatar. Qatar is going to cause a lot problems for the domestic and European games, and other major competitions.

I think the (probably only) benefit of the Qatar world cup being in the Winter is that the quality of football should in theory be much higher than normal. Midway through the regular season so all the players will be at peak performance compared to being rusty/injured after a long, grueling full season. Whether this actually happens we shall see.

China had all the chances in that game. You have to give it to the South African goalie though, they could have lost by a lot more.

They look quite a physical side, Argentina in the opening few minutes.

Correa the Argentina goalkeeper has made some good saves in this match especially that penalty.

A lot has been said about the standard of goalkeeping in this tournament. That criticism certainly doesn't apply to Argentina's 'keeper tonight. She has made several very good saves.

Yeah, kudos to that Argentinian goalkeeper, and saving that penalty. England missed a few chances though, and I did find they gave the ball away a few times. ho hey at least they have progressed to the knockouts, maybe facing Chile.

USA just look leaps and bounds above everyone else in this tournament, I'd put them as very strong favourites to win the World Cup again. Also Thailand celebrating a goal with tears of joy during a 5-1 defeat to Sweden speaks volumes about how little quality they have.

The Chile keeper made some unbelieveable saves in the second half to keep it to 3-0. As Houdini says tho US look too good, physically better than Chile!
