"Love Is Gone" was released in 2007 as the 2nd single from "Pop Life". It was given a remix by David's co-producers Fred Rister & Joachim Garraud for the single release and became his second top 10 hit. The guitar sample originally used on this track was also a feature of "I Gotta Feeling" which he produced for The Black Eyed Peas as well as his own hit "Gettin Over You". It was also the first hit where Chris Willis received a single credit for his vocal although he also sang on "Just A Little More Love" and "Love Don't Let Me Go (Walking Away)".
