Katy Perry:
California Gurls (2 weeks) Teenage Dream (5 n/c weeks) Firework (4 weeks) All in 2010. ET got a week in 2011 too The Saturdays: Ego (1wk) Missing You (3wks) Higher (4wks) Gaga had Telephone (3wks) and Alejandro (4wks) in 2010, plus she's had Born This Way (2wks) and Judas (1wk and counting) already. I know this topic is meant to be for 3 no.1s, but off the top of head Alicia Keys had a week with both Empire State Of Mind Part 2 and Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart in 2010. That's just off the top of my head, I imagine there's more. |

Will Young = 'Switch It On', 'All Time Love', 'Who Am I?'.
Dizzee Rascal = 'Dance Wiv Me', 'Bonkers!', 'Holiday' (technically done in 13 months but still consecutive) Lady GaGa = 'Just Dance', 'Poker Face', 'Paparazzi', 'Bad Romance' (defining popstar of 2009) Rihanna = 'Rude Boy', 'Love The Way You Lie'**, 'Only Girl (In The World)' Bruno Mars = 'Nothin' On You'**, 'Billionaire'**, 'Just The Way You Are', 'Grenade'. ** = featured artist Quite possibly Adele could be added to the list if 'Set Fire To The Rain' is given a UK release before February 2012. |

2008-09: Girls Aloud (Call The Shots, Cant Speak French, The Promise, Loving Kind)
2008-11: The Saturdays (If This Is Love, Up, Issues, Just Cant Get Enough, Forever Is Over, Ego, Missing You, Higher) 2009-10: Beverley Knight (Beautiful Night, In Your Shoes, Soul Survivor) The Saturdays having every single go to #1 means that up until recently they've always had at least 3 or more songs been at 1 in the last 12 months. Jordin Sparks (Tattoo, No Air, Battlefield) and Leona Lewis (Forgive Me, Run, Happy) would both have been a month or so shy of having 3 #1's in 12 months aswell. |

In 7 1/2 years only 10 acts have had as many as three number ones, and only once did three appear in one calendar year.
2009 - Little Boots 'New in Town', 'Remedy', 'Earthquake' It has happened once within one year but not a calendar year, The Killers were number one with 'Mr Brightside', 'All These Things...' and 'Somebody Told Me' in just 8 months, but the latter was at the beginning of 2005. |
