Anyone watching this American miniseries on BBC Two starring Nick Robinson and Kate Mara, this is about a teacher who has an affair with a pupil, so far i think it has been done well.
Was first shown in FX.
First six episodes were good, seven don't see the point in that episode when it's just Eric boasting what he did, episode 8 didn't enjoy it, episode 9 was difficult to watch especially the hitting scene, the last episode I enjoyed but just not sure about the ending as I felt there was more needed.
I would have preferred if it been seven episodes with the last one being episode 10 with the fast forward.
It is an uncomfortable watch.
All episodes available on the iPlayer.
Rewatched the last episode, Eric got some closure after confronting Claire. It was her mess, I think this was very well done. Rare I really get into a series. Can't see how a second series would work with the apparent talks of it. How did she get 6 months anyway for what she did?
She was naive to think that he would be OK after going to University of Texas after it happened. After something like this in your life, you'll be never Ok as the scars of what happened will always be there for the victim.
I watched it over a couple of nights this week and overall I enjoyed it. However, it all sort of felt rushed? I think the episodes could've done with being longer or the story being spread out a bit more and some of it felt rather farfetched. Another gripe is how abruptly it ended, like what now?
