BuzzJack Music Forum _ R&B and Hip-Hop _ Album Seven - TBA

Posted by: Saenerys 6th September 2017, 08:58 AM

It has been mentioned in previous discussions about whether or not Beyoncé will "Beyoncé" her next album which inspired me to start a topic for it's own, whenever it is ready to be released.

What do we all want to see from Bey's next album?

I'm hoping something along the lines of Lemonade with a range of different tracks - rockier tracks, more vulnerable tracks and some obvious empowerment tracks similar to Freedom.

Discuss! biggrin.gif

I would like it to be explorative like Lemonade was. I don't think she is going to be a singles artist again (although I would love her to get some singles chart success) but I do like how she has become more of an artist for her last two eras.

i loved Beyonce and Lemonade albums. It would be nice to see a return to a more mainstream centered album with great dance tracks and pop ballad hooks. Either way I'm very excited and will be at the next tour. (have yet to miss one)

I would love a mainstream centred album but at the same time I did love Lemonade (Beyonce too but less so) so I wouldnt mind which sort of album she produces.

You have been to every single tour ohmy.gif Jealous

Also glad you see post here hi.gif

Also jealous of you going to every tour yet ohmy.gif I've still not seen Bey live but I'll make it my mission on her next UK tour, she's the artist I most want to see live out of those I haven't seen, her performance skills are phenomenal and her live vocals are always killer *-*

In terms of album 7, it excites me that it potentially could come any day when we least expect it but I think it'll probably be until 2018 before we get something cry.gif I'd love her to continue to experiment with different genres and also get some more interesting collaborations, Jack White worked really well with her wub.gif

I agree, I loved Lemonade/Beyonce and would be perfectly happy with a similar album. You MUST go see her! It is worth every single penny and then some. Truly.

Hi hi.gif

YES! Every tour she gives her all, performs live like 90% at least, and for F's sake the costumes! yahoo.gif w00t.gif

Welcome JB2o2o cheer.gif

I'm with Josh on this, 2018 at the earliest. I can't see her dropping another album in December like she did with Beyoncé and she wouldn't have had time to compile the material having three children to sort out!

hi.gif

I have complete faith she could drop a new album TOMORROW! but it's highly improbable laugh.gif

I'm still very much in the thinking that this won't be anytime soon but if we look at the album release pattern of her previous albums:

Dangerously in Love (2003)
B'Day (2006)
I Am... Sasha Fierce (2008)
4 (2011)
Beyoncé (2013)
Lemonade (2016)

3 years, 2 years, 3 years, 2 years, 3 years and if that pattern continues then we could get album seven this year if she continues that pattern...

Posted by: Dexton 10th March 2018, 04:58 AM

I’d love another Lemonade tbh, her previous albums were good but I think I prefer the new Bey to the older poppier Bey

Posted by: SGrey 18th March 2018, 12:16 PM

Definitely - her classics such as CIL/Irreplaceable are early on but her recent output is probably where the quality is.

Posted by: Hayzayy 22nd March 2018, 09:49 AM

I want her solo record like NOW !

Posted by: SGrey 31st March 2018, 12:57 PM

According to Wikipedia six tracks have been registered on ASCAP ohmy.gif

QUOTE
In February 2018, it was reported that Knowles registered six new songs to ASCAP entitled "Life"[202], "Freak Daddy"[203], "Hold My Beer"[204], "This Love"[205], "My Song"[206] and "Love Me Not"[207] for her upcoming seventh studio album.[208] Another song called "I Go Gets Out"[209] was later found in the site's repertory.

Beyoncé would never release a song titled "Hold My Beer" laugh.gif

Posted by: blacksquare 31st March 2018, 03:35 PM

I'm not prepared for another Lemonade

The thought of it coming this year is too much

Posted by: SGrey 31st March 2018, 08:09 PM

It is too much and I standby that - it feels far too soon still and far too soon for her to even be touring.

Posted by: MJsSecretAngel 28th July 2018, 10:40 PM

I want Destiny's child to reunite and put out another full studio album.

Posted by: SKepner 19th August 2018, 01:32 PM

Omg they so could but I think Bey would be the one least likely to initiate it imo.

Posted by: blacksquare 4th April 2019, 04:48 PM

Apparently, a Netflix documentary about the Coachella performance is coming soon.

Unrelated but why is this forum so dead? She has enough of a back catalogue to discuss during the downtime between eras...

Posted by: Theonix 4th April 2019, 05:42 PM

Ooh I'd love to see the doc! The whole set was such a moment, I'd actually love to watch the whole thing again. Does anyone know if it's still on YouTube?

The Bey forum has always been pretty dead, even when her eras have been in full swing. It's a shame that Bey's huge popularity irl and in other corners of the internet has never translated well to Buzzjack sad.gif

Posted by: AV102 27th May 2019, 10:15 AM

I wish she would just release a pop album

Posted by: Jay ☆ 18th June 2019, 06:41 PM

Looks like the gap between the release of Lemonade and B7 is going to end up being her longest between studio albums... only another month and it'll be the same length of time as Dangerously In Love to B'Day.

I want new music cry.gif

I didn't realise her previous longest gap was between Dangerously and B'Day! 😱 I always thought I Am... to 4 was longer - I guess with that she had Destiny Fulfilled and #1's between them, and now since Lemonade we've had Everything Is Love and Homecoming

I too am desperate for new music though but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait, whenever it finally comes

Posted by: Dexton 19th June 2019, 10:27 AM

Shame we haven’t had even the slightest hint of a new era, anything that could’ve been interpreted as her implying a new era was coming either ended up on the Jay Z collab album, tour, documentary, or the doc soundtrack. That’s all great but come onnnnn laugh.gif
