That was Ryan Tedder, who has co-written a single with them (so it may not be this one).
And Old Town Road sampled Nine Inch Nails

 ) so got to hear this - you can certainly tell it was written by Charlie, I would have said it was his song if I wasn't told it was 5SOS!
