I'm worried that the last time France were so high in the odds was Sognu, and look what happened! To be fair to 'Sognu', they've not come anywhere close to 15th since. Frankly I'd be happy if 'J'ai cherché' came 15th or above. Disappointing in terms of the odds but a good result in terms of the country. |

The song is #8 on iTunes France which is totally unusual for an Eurovision song (I can't remember any of the French entries doing this well in the previous years). The song is played a lot on radio and is featured on NRJ playlist (biggest station) - never happened either. That's amazing for him. People in France will be a lot disappointed if he doesn't get top 10, there is so much enthusiasm around him here !
Oh and I just realized he's #63 on iTunes Belgium as well, charting higher then their own entry This post has been edited by Hayzayy: 8th May 2016, 09:22 PM |

I still think he'll be quite comfortably within the top 10, despite drawing the 1st half to perform. I imagine the juries will love it and it's doing well on the viral Spotify top 50 charts, charting in Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands, Spain and as high as #3 in Sweden currently.

Could bode well for the future of Eurovision in France. |

Agreed and to be honest I feel like building up the interest was their biggest aim this year rather than necessarily to win. |
