Promo is starting to happen! Kylie is confirmed for The One Show On June 3rd so hopefully we will get a performance too! Could see her ditching NYC in favour of an older track to promote the GH if she does perform?

If Kylie performs, a medley would be the best option or one of the big hits.
NYC wont connect in the same way for the Greatest Hits.

The promo is really early in terms of impact for the album but guessing she needs to get it all out of the way so that she can concentrate on Glastonbury.

The One Show have confirmed themselves that Kylie will be on the show this Monday:



I feel like it's unlikely she'll perform but I'd love to be proved wrong.

I saw someone tweeted asking about whether she'd ever do a bonus material collection - that's probably what I'm most interested in but I doubt it would be asked because it all depends on legal stuff.

Not really much in the way of new information but it's always a joy to see Kylie on TV and talk passionately about her projects. They only had time for one fan question, I think, which was "what's your favourite era?" to which Kylie replied "right now". laugh.gif

That would an excellent promotion show.
An audience with Kylie, performing her own most liked hits.
Or for Kylie to perform her own most liked recorded songs, album tracks, b sides and singles.
Slow and Where The Wild Roses Grow would be 2 songs guaranteed a performance.

^^ I think we can safely say that NYC is definitely ‘one for the fans’ - it’s on its 2nd week of Radio 2 A list and hasn’t trouble the iTunes Top 200 yet despite needing very few sales to do so - it’s obviously not connecting with the GP and I’d assume is doing very little to sell the album. Of course all promotion/radio play is amazing though.

It really did not connect to anyone outside the dedicated fans and likely wont be of much benefit to the Greatest Hits release.
I do believe a better new song to promote the Greatest Hits would have had more benefits.
