I feel this will be an interesting one, with plenty of songs that you either LOVE or HATE. So let's get things started, you know how it works by now! Vote in the poll for your least favourite song and comment / discuss in the thread / keep it clean I will *try* to keep deadline for every 48 hours but obviously real life comes first so apologies IN ADVANCE if it's a little longer~ |

I'm So Stupid.
This is truely one of the most perfectly crafted albums ever, other than ISS I love all of the tracks. |

Definitely going for I'm So Stupid also.
I really hope that Intervention slays in this. |

'I'm So Stupid' has grown from being the absolute worst of this album to one of the best. I think I judged it too harshly based on the awfully pitched "I'MMMMMMMM" at the beginning; it actually has a really great melody despite how too-in-your-face it appears and the lyrics, as is often the case with this album, are actually quite intelligent in a silly-rhyming disguise, but that latter point is in fact adds to the album's charm.
Another listen will be required but, the last time I listened, I think I settled on 'X-Static Process' being last, but even that is a 6/10 which signifies good in my books. |

This is going to be IMPOSSIBLE - but for now, easy choice, as everyone else has said.
Hope Mother and Father does well, for some reason I expect it might go quite early. |

Ok! This is my favorite Madonna album after 'Confessions' and ''True Blue'. I'm playing it right now as its been over a year since my listen! I'll vote after that.

Great to see you're such a fan of 'Intervention' Tyler! It's always been one of the best tracks for me but it really shot up my estimations after she dedicated it to Rocco on her Tears of a Clown concert. The lyrics were so fitting of her situation with him at the time and you can just see how down she is about it all, but it makes for an extremely moving performance:
Kind of surprised to see 'Hollywood' as an all-time Madonna favourite but I do love it; very well-crafted with a good balance of accessibility, irony, controversy and politics/social view points. I'm guessing a certain MTV performance had absolutely no bearing on how much you love this song? -x- 'X Static Process' gets my vote. Starts off lovely and soft but it doesn't progress from that so it just ends up getting slightly tedious. |

Liam we're in agreement AGAIN with 'X-Static Process', mods in sync ~ Although I can sense it won't be for long on this album because 'Easy Ride' will be target *soon* 'I'm So Stupid' is a close second to go so i'm happy with that leaving first.
I really want Intervention, Nothing Fails and the singles (yes including 'Love Profusion'!) to do well in this but we shall see~ |

I really want Intervention, Nothing Fails and the singles (yes including 'Love Profusion'!) to do well in this but we shall see~ Woo! I'll enjoy it whilst it lasts, although, because I find this whole album generally so consistently close, I can't really complain much on the order of how things leave because my ranking changes all the time anyway! 'Easy Ride' is a big favourite though; I always associate it with 'Voices' in terms of it being an underrated ballad kinda tagged onto the end of the album. Yes for 'Love Profusion'! Yeah, the record company were daft not to give 'Nothing Fails' a full worldwide release instead, but this is by no means a bad song and I love the simple lyrics just listing off problems in the world without the need for much explanation on them. |
