I would agree with all but HIAM, I really don't think it was strong enough to launch the album on.

I'm optimistic for this new era as she seems to have matured in the media's eye and I think the general public are taking her a bit more seriously now (well at least in the UK!) Whatever 'it' is that's coming is arriving the day after my birthday!!

I agree about the general public and media having more respect for her. Her keeping a low profile the past 5 years has really made the public appreciate her past achievements and her accomplishments. In the US, she is now seen more as an icon and respected for comeback after 2007. With that being said people are hungry for the charisma and dancing she brought to the stage from 1998-2004. I really hope she brings back the confidence, and it really looks like she has gotten a lot of that back after going out of her comfort zone with X factor and the Scream and Shout collab, see that S&S remix video.

So I just heard about 1 minute of the song over the phone... Since I'm sure that a few people don't want to know anything about the song until they actually hear it on monday I'll write this as a spoiler.
The quality wasn't too good because it was over a phone. I heard part of the first verse, hook and part of the chorus. Don't know who said that the song is similar to "Greyhound", but I'd say that's the most accurate description! The instrumental is reminiscent of the middle part of "Greyhound". The melody however is different... can't really explain it, but it sounds a little disjointed with the instrumental. Might sound different in HQ, but that's what I got from the short clip. The word "bitch" is a repeated part within the song, not like "It's Britney, bitch", but it'll be easy to make a clean version out of this. The beat during verse/bridge is a lot heavier than during the chorus (maybe it picks up again later during the chorus, I only heard a few seconds of it), but therefore the chorus is more melodic than the verse. From what I can say this is a surefire hit! It's very "Me Against the Music" in the way that it's a new sound, but this song is SURE to be picked up by radio and loved by the general public. Since I didn't hear the whole song it's hard to range it among her other lead singles, especially since this snippet was not even HQ... but I REALLY like what I've heard and am now even more excited about the premiere on monday.

Sebastian Ingrosso explains tweet, WB beat done by Otto Knows
“I don’t really know why they put my name in there,” Ingrosso told Billboard this afternoon. “It’s a really good song and I’m looking forward to what’s going to happen with it. But I can’t really take credit for it.”
Even though he didn’t write “Work Bitch,” Ingrosso is personally responsible for the song’s beginnings.
“I’m good friends with will.i.am,” he said. “He called me up and said ‘I’m doing Britney’s new album, do you have any beats for me to write on?’”
One of the beats the Black Eyed Peas frontman selected was by an artist Ingrosso manages, fellow Swedish DJ Otto Jettman, better known as Otto Knows. Based on how hands-on Ingrosso typically is with his artists, the mix-up, he says, is understandable.
“I’m always involved musically with the people I manage,” Ingrosso explained. “I manage two artists right now, Otto Knows and Alesso, and I’m always involved. I say to my artists, ‘You should do a little more like that, maybe do it more like this,’ that’s my job.”
Ingrosso has previously worked with will.i.am on his 2012 hit with Eva Simons, “This Is Love,” alongside Steve Angello, also of Swedish House Mafia, and Max Martin. Angello and Ingrosso also produced that track. While he says there are no plans for an Ingrosso/will.i.am collab at the moment, it’s still an option for the future.
“We have a good connection,” he says of his relationship with will.i.am. “You never know. I don’t care if it’s Britney Spears or if it’s Led Zeppelin. I love music."

It's as if they were aiming for a 'Gimme More' part two with this. I personally LOVE the song, the club appeal is there, the beat is insane, the only issue is its catchiness and it's quite faceless vocally and lyrically. But very good nonetheless.

This is great but it will NOT make Britney big in the UK again. Sure, it could end up being a big hit in the UK but that is because of the beat, Britney's vocals add nothing to the song really, she really doesn't stand out on this, anyone could be doing the vocals to be honest, it might as well be some unknown doing the vocals on a DJ's track, because that is kind of what it sounds like.

I don't think she will ever truly be back to %110 (She said herself everyday is different, and she does have a legit mental disorder... so she will never be like the "young Britney" again). I think she is really only truly comfortable when she is with her family and friends. If she decides to hang it up after this era, I will be saddened, but I really will understand. I still think she has passion for recording music and performing though, there is just a disconnect.
I mean she gone non stop since she had a mental breakdown. In 6 years she have released three studio albums, and done two world tours.

Going top 90 on original release, before slowly falling all the way down to #1100+ yesterday, before it's surge back up to #250! I'm expecting this to be a surprisingly big hit for her over her <3 I think with more plays on video channels (and hopefully radio 1 backing next week) it should climb and remain constantly in the top 300 until it's official release in November... Just got a reply from one of the DJ's from CapitalFM (2nd biggest (?) - might even be the biggest now tbh - radio station after Radio 1). Saying that he "can't wait until they are sent it to play it" or something! Why aren't they sending it to UK stations yet? The release is what 4 weeks away now? Hopefully this week/tomorrow!
(He then favourited that tweet, so hopefully it means they'll playlist it when they can!)

I'm really hoping this becomes a decent sized hit now and gets playlisted (has it been on any radio stations yet?). It'll definitely help if she comes back at the end of November / December to promote the album. I think this is why the UK is so disconnected with Britney these days as we never really see her!

It's got Top 8 secured I think. It can be anywhere from 6-8 come Sunday and that is a RESULT in my eyes I'm surprised she's not lower on iTunes tbh! I was thinking low end top 20 (about #17/#18 about now). So she's holding up well/better than I initially imagined she would! I was scared this would "do an Avril Lavigne - 'Here's To Never Growing Up'", but thankfully not (for now)!
