An all-Swiss semi-final with Federer taking on Wawrinka. Should be a cracking match.

Konta out in straight sets to Serena.
Lucic-Baroni will play Serena in the semis as she reaches her first Grand Slam semi-final since Wimbledon in 1999. Dimitrov through to semis in straight sets and will play either Nadal/Raonic. |

It would be a reminiscer's dream to have Federer-Nadal & Williams-sisters finals. Looking more into it though it just highlights the lack of quality young players coming through the sport, particularly in the men's side!
Haven't been able to watch any of this yet but I'll definitely be watching both finals, would absolutely love Federer to win. Everytime he's reached the final of a Slam in recent years I've felt this might be his last time but he just keeps going! |

I think it also shows players can play for much longer than before.
Although who in the ladies game would destroy a semi final opponent in the same way as Serena did? |

QUOTE [I don't think Nadal will win another Grand Slam title. I got a funny feeling he could retire this year. I'm glad I've been proved wrong with him retiring last year.QUOTE Somehow I think Federer had his best chance his final Wimbledon title last year in that classic final with Djokovic. I'm glad I've been proved wrong by Federer as well. |

Unbelivable finals here...have I fallen asleep and woken up in 2005? (as I only wish I could!)

Not a classic final from the Williams sisters there, Serena just had the edge throughout. Fantastic to see her break the Open era record.
I'm really rooting for both Federer & Nadal tomorrow but I would especially love R-Fed to win it. |

The greatest tennis comeback from Roger Federer from the greatest tennis player of all time. Another 5 set epic between him and Nadal. Wow!. Roger Federer is simply the best still.
Federer and Serena Williams. It will be a long time before we see the likes of them again. Both tennis legends. |

Unbelievable...! First in five years, I guess most of the legends are still winning grand slam titles into their mid 30s so it makes sense.

A great final too swang one way then the other, couldn't call it even in the last few games. A special win for Roger that, makes you think how much more is left in the tank but why not win a few more!
Nadal right back at the top too, surely the favourite for the French Open. |

That final set was jaw dropping tennis. Both gave so much, some of those rallies were just exceptional. So thrilled for Federer! Such an utter gent.

Yes well done to Federer, what a great match, Nadal was great too (nice to see them both back to reaching finals again) and yes Nadal has a great chance for the French Open.

Did anyone see Great Britain's deciding Davis Cup match against Canada where Shapovalov was defaulted from hitting the tennis ball in frustration and hitting the umpire in the eye during his match against Kyle Edmund.
I think this is the first time that has happened in Davis Cup history. |

Yes,I was watching. He hit the ball quite hard towards the stand and unluckily it the umpire straight in the eye. The umpire wasn't looking at him so he had no time to duck. The player was immediately remorseful but obviously had to be defaulted. Umpire taken to hospital. I hope there is no permanent damage.

There isn't any permanent damage to his eye to the umpire following that incident.

Roger Federer has become the oldest winner of Indian Wells by beating Wawrinka in the final in straight sets.
