Unfortunately, after a top 5 last contest, Land Of DW are riht down the other end as they finish bottom 5 of this semi. It's on the up with pop though as Hendinia storm to the final with Melfest alumni Dolly Style, while Kylienips' MrSuicideSheep entry also makes it through despite a shaky plug reception.

I made a mistake, Mulgracia were 21st losing on a 3 way tie break for only having 1 12, Terra Avium had none and the 20th placed qualifier had more. But either way, Terra Avium is out Yehesi are back in the final after a slight nightmare confirmation month of being vetoed and trying to go for an already confirmed entry in Saara!

I am still very surprised at how badly my 12 did and it was the best song in the semi (perhaps on a par with my own) and it deserved way better. Those other ones are really bad losses too. Still, that leaves things open for those just below my votes to creep in in the final. Maybe.

Aw, was convinced I'd sent a qualifier in 'Lover Like You', but at least it finished in touching distance (and I was lucky to just about scrape by last month). This marks the first time this year that the consensus has correctly predicted Desbuanda's fate! ;o

Also good to see Desbuanda originals Sofi Tukker and Mirror Talk sail through, along with Phil Good who I sent to UP last year.

I was scared it would happen when I first saw it get a DNQ prediction off the bat but still...gutted, this was my favourite entry in a while and it's just dampened my enthusiasm for this contest totally I know I know, it happens to everyone and I'll get over this in a day I'm sure but it still hurts when I love it so much and it hasn't connected...I guess horror themed instrumentals aren't as invincible as I thought they were </3

Thankfully, no other complaints, I only lost one of my votes (Mezidinia) and it was my 1 pointer so that's all good.
