V2 :
YTD Sales : Please read these guidelines before you request sales estimates, it makes my task a lot easier. 1. Be specific - please name the artist and title for each entry you'd like an estimate for. 2. I log sales for all albums that have charted this year, but only update those that have sold enough to reach my 200 position tracking range 3. If an album isn't in the current Top 100, I won't be able to update its sales until Tues. Also, please don't ask about ex-T100 albums too often - once a month at most) 4. Remember to check the thread before requesting estimates - they may already have been answered. Also, no more than half-a-dozen requests at a time, thanks. 5. Please note my figures are combined sales & streams, and since I have no way of separating them, I cannot provide a split. 6. While I am no longer estimating singles sales, I can provide YTD singles positions from C+, and I am still maintaining my sales archive based on published figures (PM me if you want to see it) Thank you. So Ed's new one crashes in sensationally at number... 13.
Watch it climb over the coming weeks though. Lewis should go platinum this week. Could end up a three-way battle between Ed, Lewis and TGS for the year's bestseller. Then again if Adele releases, it will turn into a one-way battle. |

I’m not sure the Greatest Showman will hold up now. I’m probably wrong but it seems like Lewis is gaining fast and of course Ed will sell quite consistently.
Ariana really isn’t much of an album seller, is she? She’s about to lose her top 5 footing here. |

She’s like Rihanna when it comes to singles but albums wise I’d be so interested to look at the pure sales for all her albums too as I imagine streaming is at least 60-70% of the total for most of them. |

If Ed can't even sell in multi-platinum quantities, then maybe Adele wouldn't, either? |

Still think ed is most likely candidate for YE number 1 lewis number 2 and TGS number 3 because even if ed and lewis slow down we still have the christmas period which should give them a boost

Ed will most likely sell a bit like Lewis in the near future so I'd expect him to clear 300k fairly soon but slowing down with each week.

Funny because I got crucified on here when I said for her hype and singles sales her album sales are an underperformance. |

And it was still justified because she has never been a big album seller xx

What a stupid thing to say, because she doesn't sell many albums doesn't mean she couldn't with the exposure she gets. You cant just give someone a free pass because they always underperform.

If Adele does release an album this year she will crush all those album sales in her first week, she is bigger than ED by miles and if anyone can pull insane numbers in a declining market, it is her

Dont know why but i was convinced ed Sheeran divide had higher sales than x.X looks likely to remain his all time best seller. Ed will also knock hinself out of the top 10 this week but will be replaced by himself!!
