Jurassic Park 4 has been renamed to Jurassic World.
Release date now scheduled for June 12th 2015. I hope this is the last of the issues for the film! |

Yeah I can see this one suffering a bit, wouldn't surprise me if they brought the release for a few weeks to try and give it a bit more of a chance.

Jurassic 4 has been in the can for ages, I'm really surprised its pencilled in for 2015 among the other hot releases that year, the last Jurassic film was dire.
And Terminator 5 is not a sequel from the previous film, Christian Bale is not even in it, its got Arnie back in the lead role I really don't know how that is going to work yet. |

I think it will do alright, but they must be struggling with something on production, be it the script/casting. Not always a great sign but these things can work out well in the end (World War Z). The name sells itself really, it just needs to nail the family fun but accessible to all cliche now. |

So are we all excited yet? It does look really good, although from the trailer it really does look like they're trying to create some of the famous scenes from the original... maybe slightly forced. |

I got distinct horror movie vibes from that trailer.
I mean I'll definitely go and see it (loved the first/love Chris Pratt) but after the dire third one I'm hoping to be impressed. |

Chris Pratt seems to be playing Chris Pratt in this, his lines in the trailer seem like he thinks this is a comedy. How odd.

I'm a bit concerned that they decided to create a new hybrid dinosaur for this film. I know that Jurassic Park is famous for it's complete lack of scientific plausability or accuracy but really? Aren't there enough genuine dinosaurs that would be terrifying to be stuck on a theme park with?
As long as it's more 1 & 3 than 2 it'll be good enough. |

I liked Chris Pratt a lot more when he was chubby. He seems to be everywhere nowadays and getting kinda annoying.

Chris Pratt is the male Jennifer Lawrence (by no means a bad thing in my book). He's the new internet darling it would seem!
Looking forward to this so much. It's good they haven't gone down the whole "hybrid dinosaurs with machine guns and lasers attached to them" concept like it was once rumoured! |

I mean I'll definitely go and see it (loved the first/love Chris Pratt) but after the dire third one I'm hoping to be impressed. I liked the third Jurassic Park film I thought it was a huge improvement on the (to me) hugely disappointing second film. I think I liked the fact that all of the guys in it were just ordinary people with ordinary jobs finding themselves in extraordinary circumstances. I must have a thing for 'third' films as Alien 3 was my favourite of that franchise! Back on topic - I am SO looking forward to Jurassic World! New trailer
Interested in this for Chris Pratt, that alone should be enough to get me to the cinema. |

Wow! That looks incredibly stupid. In a world where most big films are dumb this looks to be about as dumb as it gets (Transformers, I'm looking at you).
However, I'm going to take the kids, stuff my face with popcorn and cheer as dinosaurs eat stupid people! |

I really don't get the route they've gone with this, it feels like they had Chris Pratt and built the whole thing around him. I mean I like him a lot, but this looks like a total MESS. The original 3 were always faintly ridiculous anyway of course, but this actually looks properly stupid.

The original 3 were always faintly ridiculous anyway of course, but this actually looks properly stupid. Because stupid sells aslong as there's spectacle. Transformers - Age of Extinction is probably the single most stupid film I've ever seen and it's the 10th highest grossing of all time. That tells you everything you need to know. Jurassic World wasn't green lit because they wanted to make a great film. They wanted to make a f**k-ton of cash. |
