Melissa Steel has premiered her second single as lead artist following 'Kisses For Breakfast'. 'Burning Down' features rapper WizKid and follows Melissa's recent top 10 collaboration 'I Loved You' with Blonde. Very nice on first listen although doesn't beat 'Kisses For Breakfast' for me just yet. |

REALLY like the sound of this, not as good as Kisses For Breakfast but I love the vibe, I really hope it's another hit for her!

Love this song but she better not stick to this sound. Reggae is so dated and overrated.

Giving me Music Of The Sun teas.
Nowhere near as good as Kisses For Breakfast but it is okay. |

Contrary to everyone else, I much prefer this to Kisses For Breakfast. That was just childish & annoying whereas this has a great sound & gives her a bit more identity. This seems much more her avenue (away from the dance collabs) and presumably what the album will be more about!
Also bringing back that ICONIC siren sound at the start which seemed to be present in 90% of songs around 2010/11 time! (Mann's Buzzin' is the classic example of that ) This post has been edited by Dobbo: 17th January 2015, 02:40 PM |
