Another early chart as I played nothing 30 days ago! I have now been with Tidal a month so no longer have to add up the streams of slightly differently-labelled versions of things, which makes everything tonnes easier. Although certain other people may now be influencing the chart with their streaming demands, as evidenced by our first new entry. Thought about putting a red line through it but thought 'nah'. I see last week's new entries had tonnes of longevity. Ouch at the drops for much-cherished indie veterans Vampire Weekend and Tudor Cinema Club. And great to see a 51-year-old on top. Who said the pop scene was ageist? Also, my interest in the late 2010s output of 1990s guitar acts is virtually zero but Hurry on Home is a stormer that actually deserves to exist.

'Stay' is a great #1, it's David's best song in years. Shame it's currently looking at an official #41 peak though. drama.gif
'Body 2 Body' still isn't really doing it for me, it's quite a letdown after the wonderful 'Back & Forth'.
Out of your new entries 'Body Funk' is my fave. Also liking 'Greaze Mode', 'The Human Stone' and 'Dance on the Table' from your new top 10 entries.

Yeah, genuinely thought Stay was going to be massive, hope it has a resurgence. Body 2 Body is admittedly a bit basic but is growing on me, not a patch on the likes of 17 though. Working my way through a load of R1 specialist dance stuff to see what stands out, there are so many derivative but fun 90s-indebted bangers on Dance Anthems in particular that don't make the playlist. The wait for The Human Stone was so long that I was kind of over it by the time it actually came out commercially, still enjoyable though.
