New TV series on ABC, premiered on Saturday. Seems to mix fiction and reality, with fairytales and such mirroring real life circumstances and characters.

Anyone seen it yet? It had great ratings.

Screw Revenge, THIS is the best new show of the 2011/12 season imo. So pleased that it's a ratings hit so far. biggrin.gif

ABC have pulled some good shit out of the bag this season. The second episode was better than the first... I still have a major problem with the Evil Queen/Mayor but I think I can look past that. Loving the increased quantities of Jamie Dornan in the second ep. Nobody who looks THAT GOOD should be able to act! Jennifer Morrison is amazing too. FAB FAB FAB.

It's alright, but I'm not really feeling it. But then I don't think it's had time to balance all the good/evil dynamics (how much do they remember? And how much are they really like their fairy tale selves?) yet so I'll obviously stick with it to see. I can't stand the kid though. Or Ginnifer Goodwin's haircut. (Jamie Dornan is very welcome, however.)

I gave this a go after your recommendations (the same with Revenge) and it was pretty terrible. Buzzjack loves a bit of cheese, non? Jamie Dornan cannot act to save his life either. SORRY FOLKS.

The actress playing Emma has the look of a middle-aged pornstar... Not quite fairytale material.

Jamie Dornan's lack of ability (and awful accent) are all compensated for by his SUPREME HOTNESS.

She's a bit too manly and haggard for me.

I like this, after two episodes it's pretty good effort imo, 8/10 I would say. I have always liked Jennifer Morrison wub.gif

QUOTE
Once Upon a Time has landed another Lost alum.

Emilie de Ravin, who played Australian castaway Claire on the ABC island mystery series, has been cast as Belle, as in Beauty and the Beast's Belle, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

Really excited by this new, love her. biggrin.gif Her first appearance should be episode 12. I think we're getting the first 7 this year and we should hopefully have minimal breaks next year if there's gonna be another 15 - two weeks in February will be taken up by the Oscars & the Superbowl anyway.

Nice to have some backstory for Prince Charming this week (even if it was a tad hard to believe), but the SFX are actually ABYSMAL. It's starting to put me off the programme actually, the scene when he was fighting the 'unkillable' guy and the scenes with him and that c**t Abigail in the castle are among the worst CGI I have ever witnessed on a (relatively) big budget TV show.

Nice to see Alan Dale too, I'm awaiting his characters inevitable heart attack though.

I'm really intrigued by this show, like the premise (after a long time) will get annoying, I feel. And I'm not sure Rumple being the villain to EVERY story is that good an idea as well.
