I really like my entire top 5 (and this is with my two faves prior to the lives being eliminated let's weep for Simon and Jennifer) Anton is good more for comedy value lol, those facial expressions :') Reggie n Bollie are fun, Max is good but I feel we've not seen much of him yet. Seann and Che are both technically good but they lack star quality right now and I'm struggling to actually back them. Bupsi is a funny one lol but she's quite fun. Mason is talented but so unlikeable which is offputting.

01 Keira Weathers (she seems like the most 'winnery' contestant to me. I don't think she will because the public are stupid, but she's easily one of the most ready made popstars they've had in YEARS)
02 4th Impact (You just cannot argue with their enthusiasm, vox and general likability)
03 Seann Miley Moore (could be amazing if he just learned the right balance between spectacle and vocals. The real test will be when he needs to change it up and sing something different)
04 Louisa Johnson (she has the vox, but needs serious work)

12 Anton Stephens (smug, faux humble, terrifying facial expressions and eyes. About as likeable as bubonic plague)

It really isn't a banner year, at least not the acts that have made the final 12. I could probably have had about 8/9 acts to root for if the judges hadn't been such fools. Basically below the line it's all a mass of bland or shit or whatever and I don't care for any of them at all.

01 Louisa (her voice is just mindblowing, so effortlessly blows everyone else's away to be honest)
02 Kiera (she's instantly the best popstar I agree, with a bit of the right guidance I feel like she could be really incredible)
03 Che (his falsetto gives me goosebumps, amazing! He doesn't really have the look but oh well)
04 4th Impact (they're undeniably hugely talented and crafted, but I think their OTT/high energy performances might grate a bit after about week 4 or so?)
05 Seann (brilliant voice and a unique look, but I hope he doesn't go in the direction I fear... I can see him being the equivalent to the older diva who just sings ballads except for the obligatory performance of Relight My Fire or a Donna Summer song in disco week)
06 Lauren (lovely girl, great voice, but not much else; nothing unique)
07 Alien Uncovered (not feeling these as much as I probably should, normally they'd be right up my street! They are pretty good though and I thin they have potential, I just can't see them being there long enough to fulfill it)
08 Bupsi (she's not terrible, but I feel like she's one of those who comes across as being better than she actually is, just because of the way she over performs while singing... In any other year I doubt she'd have even had a look in at being in the lives, it's a joke though she's there and Jennifer/Ebru aren't)
09 Mason (actually not a bad voice but him getting through is so contrived just so he can squabble with Simon live on air)
10 Max (I get nothing from him, again feels quite contrived he was brought back and is now in the lives too)
11 Anton (insanely irritating, quite bland and really just not that great vocally. He's the sort of Voice contestant who'd maybe get to week 2 because the rest of the team is so weak, no idea how he's set to do so well here but I can still see it happening...)
12 Reggie & Bollie (f***ing terrible. They're just fulfilling the novelty act quota, I guess there wasn't much choice for the groups though....)

1. Louisa Johnson (incredible vocals, tone for days. the kind of voice I love love love)
2. Lauren Murray (again, another incredible vocalist, and I find myself routing for her because of her personality)
3. Seann Miley Moore (seeing as all the female popstars play the eccentric game, why can't we have an out there male popstar? so likeable and a very good vocal on him)
4. Che Chesterman (wasn't initially keen but his voice is undeniable, the soul gets me everytime)
5. 4th Impact (despite putting them at only 5, I do actually love these girls. only thing that puts me off is they get a little shouty from time to time)
6. Keira Weathers (would have been higher but she kind of disappointed me with tonight's audition. I think she could be a ready made popstar though - oh how x factor of me)
7. Alien Uncovered (was not keen up till now, thought style over substance but the vocals/song choice/performance at judges houses won me over. not completely convinced they'll be consistent though)
8. Max Stone (has a very good voice and I do love his tone but there is something about him that bores me as a performer. could grow on me more though as he can sing v well)
9. Anton Stephens (undeniably he can sing but he actually scares me - seems a bit unhinged. also I know what im gonna get everytime)
10. Bupsi (should not have got through above Jennifer. she seems like a likeable lady but an average vocal and a bit of rauncy dancing ain't gonna cut it)
11. Mason Noise (doesn't deserve his place, only here for the controversy. its not even as if he has a good voice to make up for him being a c**t, he's actually one of the worst vocalists left)
12. Reggie n Bollie (they can do their cover of antenna in week 1 and then leave the building, never to return again, thanks)

1. Lauren (up to this point it had been Ché but following the JH performance she's now my fave, perfect!)
2. Ché (outstanding voice, hope they give him the right songs to showcase it)
3. Mason (have no idea what'll he be like at the Lives which makes it more interesting, solid performer too)
4. Max (as long as he doesn't go down the full 'typical guitar guy' route I'm excited to see how he'll do at Lives)
5. Reggie n Bollie (yep, they're only lasting a week but it's gonna be a hilarious watch!)
6. Seann (he'll be great the first few weeks but then it'll get boring, looking forward to some Rhydian-like performances though)
7. 4th Impact (yeah ok they are growing on me each week, tone down on the oversinging (like at JH) and they'll be great)
8. Louisa (I do like her voice but can't buy into her fully yet, just see a good singer yet not a performer but it could come)
9. Alien (JH was their best yet, not fully sold on them yet but at least they'll be fun(ish) to watch)
10. Keira (find her a bit plain and just a weaker version of Louisa, other than her first audition I haven't really enjoyed anything from her)
11. Anton (good voice but just not my kind of act at all)
12. Bupsi (boring, second out of the door after the two guys most likely)

The criticism about Alien Uncovered being too arrogant is silly. I hate girls acting shy and then being amazing. They are not fully their but in the words of Demi Lovato, what is wrong with being confident?!

I hope at the absolute minimum, they can do a Only The Young, but I would ideally want a Fleur East / Little Mix and to be the surprise this year .

Louisa is clearly my favourite. By a long way away. I understand that she may be "over hyped" or whatever on here, but it's all backed up imo. Keira is stunning also. I think she'll be under looked a lot of the time, despite putting on stellar performances. 4th Impact are seriously good too. Very professional and well rehearsed. I can see why their voices might grate sooner rather than later though. Seann Miley Moore is such a bizarre character, in the sense that his voice is insane. He looks like a star & has the right personality for a popstar, I just don't know where he'd fit in the industry, coz he can't sell theatrical-type songs to a mass audience. We'll see...

Mason Noise irritates me because he's such a knob but he's very, VERY talented and I can definitely see him selling. It frustrating that he did what he did, coz I have no doubts that he'd have been a favourite to win if he'd kept his mouth shut. Che Chesterman great voice, just has very little stage presence and I think he's starting to become a bit of a one trick pony. But I can see the hype. Same with Lauren Murray tbh. Brilliant voice, but a bit "seen it all before" from her. Alien Uncovered are good, they just need a bit of polishing up. Still a bit too much to take in at once, but there's potential without a doubt, it just seems a bit too try hard atm. I just can't see how they'd work if it didn't work for Neon Jungle though... but we'll see.

Max Stone is a very nice guy, just a bit of a non-entity and doesn't seem to be showing too much personality. He's got a good voice, but the market he's aiming for seems to be quite saturated at the moment and I don't think he'll stick out at all, but I like him. Reggie N' Bollie. Please shoot me. I actually quite like them! Ugh. Bupsi is an odd one. She actually has an OK voice, but she's such a novelty act, I don't see where she'd sell records and don't see her as a real threat to anyone. Anton Stephens has a great, powerful, theatrical voice. But that's it. His personality is annoying and I really can't see him selling records. He'd be suited perfectly to the west end though!

Solid year this year. No one I actually hate.

I can see my list changing a lot as the live shows go on tbh but there's no one I really despise like previous years. The talent is very strong this year it's just a shame the live shows are so short this year as I feel like there could have been a few wildcards from people who got eliminated who desreved a shot.

Louisa and 4th Impact are pretty inseparable after week 1, both gave fantastic performances Anton and Mason surprised me with excellent performances, and Lauren sadly disappointed me a lot with a very dated performance No-one I truly dislike but Bupsi just felt lacklustre.

Not understanding the love for Anton, he's so annoying and very shouty, oops.

Ché was surprisingly a let down. His voice is good, but not put to good use here. Not a good song choice, and the mash up was so predictable.

I agreed with Cheryl, the Someone Like You Reggae Mix did not work! Max was still singing it as an emotive ballad, so the instrumental just didn't complement.

Bupsi... she fell completely flat, the studio audience looked dead. However, she does have a good voice. I'm sure she could put on a more exciting performance than she did, with the right song choice.

Seann has an undeniably great voice, but his performance didn't really do it for me. Very theatrical, but I'm looking for him to do some "popstar performances".

Kiera sang the song nicely, but she doesn't command the stage and I felt like I was losing interest in her during the performance.

Reggie 'N Bollie are very fun! I find them to be highly likeable. I just hope their appeal doesn't wear off and that they don't do the same week in week out.

Alien Uncovered - I didn't think the performance was quite as sharp as it could have been. At times I felt like they were merging in with their dancers and not looking very distinctive as the main act on stage (which is surprising considering how striking they all look individually). I thought the chorus seemed a bit too sweetly sung, it needed more grit. Verses/rapping a lot better. There's definitely potential with these girls.

Lauren - 'I'm Every Woman' will always sound dated, but she did sing it very well. As a personality I'm a bit unsure whether I find her endearing or whether she's going to end up grating on me. ;o

A strong vocal from Monica, but it would be interesting to see her perform a song that wasn't so "intense". I need to see whether she has any diversity.

Mason - I kind of hate that I've placed him so high up my ranking, but his was one of very few performances that felt modern and like it really did match the theme "this is me". He did 'Sorry' justice. <3

Louisa... I didn't quite understand the mass liking for her last week (Judges Houses was the first time I saw her), but after this performance I completely get her now. 'God Only Knows' usually irritates me, but she made me like it. Very beautifully sung, and definitely the strongest voice in her category (or any category). Having said this, I found it slightly hilarious that her song choice for "this is me" was a song she hadn't even heard before.

Finally, 4th Impact... yaaaas! *.* So much energy, vocals on point, I even thought their rapping was superior to Alien Uncovered. Very exciting!

Not really that massive on Reggie n Bollie but Shaggy worked well for them. I really dislike Monica and Alien but they were not the worst on last nights performances.

so first live show and no one had breathtaking performance, very average start.. Sean wins coz serioulsy amazing vocals, Monica is surprise, i'm actually glad now that she is back..

Really cannot stand the bottom four, do not understand the hype for Alien Uncovered at all, it's all a bit basic and flat. Keira was disappointing too considering how great she's been up to now, that song did her no justice at all. Just no.

Louisa absolutely slayed everybody last night for me. I didn't "hate" any performances last night. Some had their problems, but they're the "problems" that can be ironed out and worked upon week after week. Monica really surprised me! She gave a good performance last night, but I just don't like her. Mason & Kiera suffered from their respective songs being in completely different keys to what they're used to. Alien Uncovered are a mess. They really need to be tighter as a group both vocally and performance wise. Their song reminded me of one of those cheap cover versions you'd get on 'Just Dance' for the Wii or something (although it did remind me a tiny bit of Little Mix - Super Bass and that performance!). Max was very brave with that choice, I think the verses were suited much more to that theme than the chorus was, which was very off putting and jarring. Lauren was cruise ship at best, which is a shame because she has an incredible voice!

Finally watched both shows and here's my rankings/comments:

1. Louisa - she absolutely stole the show, bravo

10. Max - not great, doesn't help that I hate that song as it is but the reggae twist just didn't work for me
11. Reggie N Bollie - meh, was fun I guess but not something I'd ever rewatch
12. Anton - can't fault the singing nor performance but not my kind of act whatsoever
13. Bupsi - boring, forgettable and all the time I just thought Jennifer should be here instead, at least she was first out

So basically the Overs were all disappointing and the acts I haven't been huge fans of up till now all stepped up their game massively.

3. Seann. 1-3 The drop doesn't represent me liking him less in any way. This Woman's Work is still the performance of the series so far. But I just don't care for the song and I hoped that the theatrics would be a little less. As a theatre performance, it would have been perfect. For the x factor, not as much.
4. Che. 4-4 Wonderful song choice. His voice is great and I think he looked a lot better too.
5. Reggie N Bollie. 10-5 Surprise of the night. I think this is a case of perfect song choice. But they were fun and the performance was really enjoyable.
6. Mason Noise. 9-6 Putting aside the fact that they have moulded him into this humble, gentle guy, this was a relevant and strong performance.
7. Anton Stephens. 7-7 I've never been a fan of this song, so was hard for me to really enjoy it. BUT that takes nothing away from a strong vocal.
8. Max Stone. 11-8 Meh, he pulled it off just enough, but I'd prefer people not to do Adele or try and change her sound, there's some bands/songs that shouldn't be touched and Adele is one of those.
9. Lauren Murray. 5-9 AWFUL song choice, doesn't do enough to showcase her talents. But, it did enough to remind people she is fun and get her through week one.
10. Louisa Johnson. 8-10 Clearly, I missed something. I can just tell her whole "set list" for the next 6/7 weeks will be happy, upbeat songs, turned into slow, drab and "meaningful" songs. For which she will be dubbed "unique" No cheers.
11. Bupsi. 6-11 SO disappointing. It was totally the wrong song. Give her some Chaka, Tina, Diana, Celine. Give her diva classics. Not this.
12. Keira Weathers. 12-12 Bland, bland, BLAND. Beautiful meaningful confessional song turned into some kind of cruise ship song. No depth, nothing behind the eyes, no personality, no x factor. Goodbye asap plz. Thnks.











13. Alien Uncovered. 13-13-OUT. Their sing off performance, no joke, was the WORST performance I have EVER seen on X Factor. Awful vocals, shocking. I am SO pleased that Simon noted that it should be judged on the sing off because there was NO way they could stay after that. I didn't like them before, but wow, that was the nail in the coffin.

Louisa was outstanding. The performance had everything; vocals, fierceness, charisma, choreography. She SANG! She did look a tad awkward sometimes as she was checking where to stand but that'll be fixed with time! She remains with head and shoulders above the others

Kiera deserved to stay last week after this amazing performance. She worked the stage, sang and showed off what she had in her. It may have been a carbon copy of Ladybee and Rochelle's version fo this, but it remained great

Mason is a great dancer so idk why they don't exploit this more. The performance was good, but they could've done so much more with it. Same for Lauren, tho not in the dance department. They could've made the song more exciting to listen to. She has stunning vocals, lookwise she reminds me of a chubbier (not fat) version of Tulisa

Monica had great vocals, but it's nothing exciting or new. 4th Impact did v. well, but I still can't get into them properly. There wasn't as much screeching, yet something felt a bit off.

Seann just has the type of voice I'm not too sure of. I wasn;t a fan of the way they did the song either. Reggie and his pal were fun to watch but there's nothing vocally or talentwise. Max was very painful and awkward to watch and I'm unsure why they were even clapping for him. It was a tragedy.

Ché took an amazing and exciting song, drained it from all the energy and replaced it with his own boring stamp. NEXT. Anthon was just one hell of a carcrash. It was horrible. If he doesn't leave I lose faith in y'all

BRILLIANT vocal, glad he directed how he wanted the performance to be, very likable and dare I say it... a bit cute.

THE CLAPPING SONG THOUGH. NOW, I adore GA I really do, I've seen them live twice. The Sound... part didn't work, they are better singers than GA. GA weren't about the stunning vocals. They were a package, 4 girls with their own identity, with talent and natural performance skills. They need songs giving them a chance to show better vocals.

OMG I don't even care, I love them. It wasn't me was genius. WMYB and Cheerleeder was brill and super fun (and a great plug for the Syco label )

Week 3 rankings:

7-5-1 Lauren: So glad she picked this, just showed how dated the theme would have been as it was the most current & relevant out of everyone and she nailed the track
1-6-2 Louisa: Back on form, after a sluggish start it grew into a superb performance with excellent vox
11-4-3 Reggie N Bollie: On paper this looked hideous but I actually loved it, loads of fun & they really need to stay in another week
12-2-4 Anton: Heard the song a million times but seldom from someone of his ilk, a bit jittery at times but the song suited him to the ground
5-9-5 Ché: Still waiting for that 'wow' moment akin to his first audition but this was decent, just felt it was incredibly dated and old-fashioned, vocals outstanding however as per
4-10-6 Mason: Not outstanding by any means but a good upbeat track that didn't feel old but current in the way he performed it, a little forgettable but nowhere near as much as last week
8-3-7 Monica: Very strong vocally again but just didn't feel the song choice at all, she'd have been waaay better performing the Haddaway track of the same name Keisza-style
3-8-8 4th Impact: Didn't get the overwhelming positive reaction to them at all, was pretty boring and zoned out through most of it, the dancing was 'okay'
10-1-9 Max: He was the huge disappointment for me last night, just a really poor song choice. Pleasantly sung but a thoroughly boring performance...

Literally, would have slipped to number 2, but the confidence and last 10 seconds of the song kept him here. Simon was so right, he's gunna get LAID!

2. Lauren Murray. 5-9-6-2
STUNNING. Brilliant, current and relevant. Ariana Grande and James Bay, I hope they keep going, I don't want her doing Whitney and Mariah.

3. 4th Impact. 2-1-2-3
Good for them fighting and performing. I thought the song choice, was actually a little bit average, but they performed it brilliantly and made me enjoy it. They can't not be in the final.

4. Reggie N Bollie. 10-5-3-4
Love them. Don't care. Enjoyable, fun. The most credible of "novelty acts" I think X Factor has had. But, I think it's harsh to label them as Novelty tbh.

5. Monica Michael. 3-2-4-5
I am so so curious what Bang Bang would have been like. I thought her bottom 2 performance was good. But, I don't think this competition is what she needs. She needs to be with producers and song writers because both songs she's wrote and performed have been stunning.

6. Mason Noise. 9-6-9-6
Okay, little bit shallow. But I'm a sucker for a guy in a suit He's good, but I think he needs a little bit more time to figure who he is as an artist, I don't think he's QUITE there.

7. Louisa Johnson. 8-10-8-7
I don't care.

8. Anton Stephens. 7-7-11-8
I don't find him to be genuine in his sincerity. I find it all very theatre and calculated. I can see why he was a backing singer, a great one, but just not captivating enough to be a superstar.

9. Max Stone. 11-8-7-9
I had started to root for him a little bit. But, of every song from every film, he performed this. Nonono. Not a great choice, but his voice sounded good.

May I just start by saying it's RIDICULOUS that were into the top 5 already.

Great, polished, fun, exciting, talented. I can't say enough. Even though the song choice was strange, they did great with it.

I LOVE that people raged about them being put through and look where they are. I unashamedly love them, I don't think they are novelty either.

AWFUL. Was starting to warm to him, but no excuses. This was POOR, second only to Alien's sing off song for worst performance of the series. The right person went.

When she does modern things, I love her. One Last Time, You Don't Own Me, Hold Back The River have all been genius choices, but the fallback to Mariah/Whitney just makes her so forgettable.
Plus, now that so many people have pointed out her "forced" persona I can't help but feel the same too.

Embrace the fun, why not. I don't think it is fair to call them novelty because of the genre of upbeat songs they are singing. Good for them and good for him for mentioning dealing with depression. Very much support them, think they would be a more memorable winner than Louisa.

2. Che Chesterman. 4-4-1-1-3-3-2
Has no chance of winning which is a shame tbh, he's very talented. Would love if he could sneak into the final 2 ahead of the boring blonde girl. Most interested to see who his famous person duet will be.
