QUOTE(Iz~ @ Mar 1 2015, 11:17 PM) *
I suddenly feel so UNCERTAIN about everything. I'm not sure I even have a list of potentials. Each time I start getting behind a song to send I also get dark thoughts that it won't connect enough and it'll be out in the semi in a way it doesn't deserve. May put off confirming for a bit.

Look at this way, loads of great songs go out in the semis, it doesn't matter anyway as long as it gets love from someone, and for every one that DNQ's it's one step closer for Singerpurear to not DNQ laugh.gif

True, all too true sometimes, but for a chance to remain invested in the second week of the contest, which is something I really enjoy doing, any position in the final is better than going out at the semis (ironically I seem unable to get fluky qualifiers ever), and that's why I support bigger finals and always have done. Even with two entries I could throw my weight behind last month it still wasn't as interesting as having your own track there. And I always seem to get this sad feeling that when I look back on the contest, no matter how good the DNQs were they're going to look so inferior to even last place in the final.

Plus, it is a competitive process, I'm not going to deny that, it's a contest, and I do get competitive with it sometimes. It's just how to remain competitive without compromising my principles of variety and inspiration that is the hardest part.

DNQ'ing mainly sucks for me because I guess (don't know for sure mind) that a lot of people don't listen to the DNQ's from the opposite semi and it cuts off a large chunk of people from ever hearing your track, many of which might have been big fans of it.

I confirmed another track. Actually one of the first times I changed it oops
Praying it's not taken yet. It's a $l*t jam so I kind off doubt it

I am v curious as to who sent that. I assume it was one of the plug.dj people as I've seen it played on there. (Michael???)

Whoever it is doesn't need to resubmit an entry as whoever thought that was a suitable entry for BJSC should never participate in BJSC.

That's actually a really good mashup ohmy.gif but yeah not quite unknown enough for BJSC laugh.gif I reckon it'll be a debutant.

The Cum Song laugh.gif

must've been Michael or Spinning Adam as I don't think anyone else is silly enough to try entering it
