Welcome to the Final round of Least Fave Disney Animated Classic, and bowing out in 3rd place is "Beauty and the Beast" with a whopping 15 votes, leaving a final showdown between "Aladdin" and "The Lion King" to battle it out for the #1 spot.
Released in 1991 as the 30th Disney animated feature, and effectively put the Renaissance back into full swing after the disappointment of "The Rescuers Down Under". This received wide critical acclaim and became a massive success grossing over $425 Million at the worldwide box office and even became the first ever animated feature to be nominated for an Oscar for Best Picture, but lost out to "Silence Of The Lambs", but it did win 2 further Oscars for Best Original Score and Best Original Song, which was sung by Celine Dion. There is even a live action remake planned for 2017 starring Emma Watson as Belle. Both "Aladdin" and "The Lion King" both scored 9 votes in the last round, so this final poll should be very close and would be interesting to see who comes out on top. 03rd Beauty and the Beast = 15 Votes I absolutely love this movie and so glad that it's done so well here. Everything from the animation, the characters and the songs each work beautifully. After missing out on seeing "The Little Mermaid" in the cinema, but this one I got see and just loved it, there is not a single thing bad or wrong with this movie at all, everything is timeless and plus Belle is probably the first Disney princess with a good head on her shoulders. The voice work is flawless, the music is incredible, and the side characters are a lot of fun and bring a lot of humanity to the story despite being inanimate objects. The villain is so great (and has two really good songs), plus it’s the one time that it’s all about his nuances and development more than what he looks like. So in all this is a well deserved top 3 Disney classic. Right then we are down to our final 2 and looks like out of all the Disney Princesses, Jasmine from Aladdin is the only one left, in a final showdown between "Aladdin" and "The Lion King" who will win, you decide, and I will be keeping this open for about a week or more. Lion King. It partly defines my childhood; but I enjoy Aladdin more in my older years. CORRECT top 2 though.

Wait, are we voting for who we want to win or our least favourite? I voted Aladdin thinking the latter but if not please change my vote to The Lion King ;o
Perfect top 2, two jewels of the Disney crown for sure. Aladdin is vastly enjoyable, but The Lion King was THE film of my childhood and I'm still awestruck by it's beauty today, needs to win. |

Can only be The Lion King at this point. |

Voted Lion King. It'd be a great winner but I just prefer Aladdin.

Also Lion King to win. Aladdin is probably my 3rd favourite (behind The Jungle Book) so I am very happy to see it take the silver medal

Don't really care, all the best films went ages ago. These two are pretty good, but should both just be outside the top 10. I prefer Aladdin just I think.
