Hi Riser

Yay at the big climb for 679, rap at its best for me. It's ridiculously catchy, I've learnt all the words now too laugh.gif Bit embarassing to sing along to in the car but I can't resist, stronger than Trap Queen for me.

Big fan of On My Mind, so sad to see a lot of people hating on it. It's really refreshing imo, I love instrumental i in the chorus, it's really sharp and energetic. A perfect response to Don't as well, especially when she looks so majestic in the video. Way stronger than Army which everyone seems to be loving so far drama.gif

Yay at The Hills entering, can't believe it's just suddenly blown up but so happy it has, thought it would never happen and it would destined to be a low top 40 hit in the UK. I love the whole atmosphere in the song, even that scream before the chorus is so excellently placed.

Queen of Peace! dance.gif So gutted that it wasn't a bigger hit, really disappointed with HBHBHBs sales so far too, it looks like everyone has just gone off Florence but for me the whole thing is WAY stronger than Ceremonials. Hoping HBHBHB is the next single actually, it's gorgeous! wub.gif

Levels is just plain irritating, he had a lot of strong stuff waiting on the album and he chose to release something new which is really bad. That b-b-b-bop thing going on drives me through the wall sad.gif

No way!!! ohmy.gif laugh.gif To be honest Cole is a pretty "basic" artist, doesn't stand out at all but I was in Nashville and heard one of his songs and it just clicked. And yeah, it's an especially country-tastic chart this month because of the Nashville trip which was pretty amazing!
I think you'll love one of my BJSC potentials but I'm not sure about sending it just yet. I think I owe you some points now anyway!

Hi Josh hi.gif
YES, I definitely prefer 679 over everything else from Fetty. And it's actually special to me because it's name after his birthday (June 7th 1990) which is the same as mine (only I'm 1991) so it's my new birthday song from now on biggrin.gif
I wish everyone would appreciate On My Mind, I love the chorus instrumental too! It might even contend for #1 in my next chart. I haven't listened to Army or anything else from Delerium yet but really hoping for some gems when she releases it.
The Hills honestly deserves to be one of the defining songs of the year, and I'm thrilled it has a good peak now to match all the chart sales it's been racking up. I've never really liked The Weeknd but I love songs that completely stand out on the radio, it's so different yet absolutely massive. I hope it wins a Grammy.
I've only listened to the singles from HBHBHB but just from that it sounds stronger than Ceremonials. I really liked Ship To Wreck but it has a pretty standard structure to it whereas Queen Of Peace does its own thing and sounds incredible!
It really is disappointing that Nick didn't make any more effort with the songs on his album, like how does he expect people to invest in him if he's just going to release two singles and move on? I don't mind Levels but can definitely understand it being rather cringeworthy.
Thanks for commenting biggrin.gif

Hi James! Thank you for commenting!
Yeah I loved Cool Kids and was disappointed when I listened to their album, but some of the songs grew on me. They're young so hopefully they can improve!
Hold My Hand took a long time to grow as you can see. It's on the verge of being a hit in the US and I hope it happens!

Hey Jordan! Hope everything is fine and dandy smile.gif

1. Hailee Steinfeld – Love Myself [1-1] Hmmm, not really feeling this. Maybe it will grow if it ever gets a proper UK push?
2. Shawn Mendes – Stitches [33-1-2-4-2]
3. Taylor Swift – Wildest Dreams [19-3]
7. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis feat. Eric Nally, Melle Mel, Kool Moe Dee & Grandmaster Caz – Downtown [31-7] How did this perform in the US? I wish it had gone Top 10 here, it really deserved to.
9. Walk The Moon – Different Colors [31-25-9] Hoping this gets some radio play and can at least go Top 40, maybe on a quiet week in the new year smile.gif
10. R. City feat. Adam Levine – Locked Away [1-3-10]
11. Ellie Goulding – On My Mind Kinda going off this now, I just hope the album delivers unsure.gif
12. Carly Rae Jepsen – Run Away With Me [33-29-12]
16. Maroon 5 – Feelings Ooh is this new from them?
19. Jess Glynne – Hold My Hand [32-32-39-19]
20. P!nk – Today’s The Day [5-20]
22. Little Mix – Black Magic [6-22] It's all about Love Me Like You now biggrin.gif
23. Florence + The Machine – Queen Of Peace Definitely one of her best singles, along with Ship To Wreck!
25. One Direction – Drag Me Down [26-9-25] Wow, this has literally been dragged down this month ohmy.gif
26. Philip George & Anton Powers – Alone No More
30. Nick Jonas – Levels I feel like this really should have been a hit, I guess it became another casualty of OA/OS.
31. Calvin Harris feat. Disciples – How Deep Is Your Love [37-11-31]
32. Jess Glynne – Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself [11-13-32]
37. Naughty Boy feat. Beyonce & Arrow Benjamin – Runnin’ (Lose It All)
38. Demi Lovato – Cool For The Summer [24-4-10-38]
39. Drake – Hotline Bling I do like a good surprise hit, and this is one of the best surprise hits of the year smile.gif
40. Galantis – Peanut Butter Jelly I didn't even know peanut butter jelly was a thing, I'm not even sure if you can get it in the UK but I really want to try some laugh.gif

I've not liked as much as usual this month, but mostly because there's a lot of songs I don't know!
Hey Mango! I'm okay thanks, everything is dandy at least.
1. That's a shame you're not feeling it. It was very instant for me so I don't know what to tell you! tongue.gif
7. Missed the top 10 here too sad.gif I'm disappointed, but glad it was #1 in Australia at least! I really hope they have a nice run of hits coming just like in 2013.
9. Seems like a big ask but yes, fingers crossed! Just saw them live which is why this climbed so much ohmy.gif
11. Still growing on me! I'm nervous about the album too, eek.
16. It's from the V album and was made a single after 'This Summer', but it's not doing anything and there's no video!
22. It is! But I'm not sure if I'll chart it. Maybe a few months late just like this one laugh.gif
23. Agreed! wub.gif
25. laugh.gif You may be pleased to know that I'm liking 'Perfect' more and it should do better than this one.
30. I agree, but I think 'Chains' not being a hit was a much bigger injustice. </3
39. Yeah, I'm enjoying the surprise success more so than the song itself!
40. If you can find peanut butter you can make one yourself! It's the American "jelly" though, which is what you call jam from my understanding. Very simple and delicious!
No worries mate, thanks for commenting!
