The rules:


Contest window: Any album released in July 2021
Entry window: Sometime early next month!
The system: Choose any three albums released during the month in question in order of preference. The best receives three points, second best two points and the third best one point. See example below:

1. Album A (3 POINTS)
2. Album B (2 POINTS)
3. Album C (1 POINT)

There will be a tournament with the 3 top albums from each month at the end of the year.

1 Dave - We're All Alone In This Together
2 Billie Eilish - Happier Than Ever
3 Isaiah Rashad - The House Is Burning

Only listened to 4 albums from this month so pretty easy picks. Dave and Billie albums are both great more or less all the way through but the Dave album has higher highs, the Isaiah one tails off quite a bit in the last few tracks but it's also pretty consistently solid for the first 10 tracks or so. (Honorable mention to Redlight - Radius as it's the album being left off here, although I'm still confused why he didn't include 'Leaf' on that album, all the other singles with the same artwork aesthetic were included and it's not like it couldn't have fit in especially with the final tracklist only being 8 songs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

And Vince Staples' album just misses out. That LP is becoming a grower
There are two EPs that would be a '+3' contender if they were albums. Under Twenty Five by ENNY and Moral Panic II by Nothing But Thieves (that EP is growing on me the more I listen to my favourites off of it)

Doing this just to help get WILLOW and Laura in tbh. Heard Billie's album a couple of times now and it's boring af. Sorry, again. I just don't think I'll ever get the hype.

Didn't wanna vote Anne-Marie really, but hers is definitely the one I enjoyed the most out of all the ones I had heard (I didn't dislike it, I just didn't think it's anything special). Dave's albums was boring too. zzz.gif Not my thing I guess.
