2004 is one of my favourite years for music but the number ones aren’t the best representation.

It really wasn't. One of the weakest for sure minus Britney and some others!

20 years this year since the legendary banger that is "Lean Back" by Terror Squad ft Fat Joe & Remy Ma. Still sounds as good now as it did back in '04!

'Most Precious Love' wasn't a hit until 2006!

Well these were my #1s from 2004 and tbh I still like pretty much all of them. As much as I love The Cure, that wasn't a great song in retrospect... and Alex Parks definitely was a questionable choice Scissor Sisters were clearly my act of the year though

Wasn’t sure where to ask this sorry.
Would there be any interest or would the mods be happy hosting an album listen through for Natasha Bedingfield’s debut album Unwritten? Given the single is currently enjoying a resurgence it might be a nice time to do it. |

Don't see why we couldn't really as we did for Sophie. I think it'd be worth it more if a couple more faces took part in it though as the activity had decreased for these listenthroughs towards the latter half of the year.
I mean would you be up for running it One For Sorrow? |

I mean would you be up for running it One For Sorrow? Understandable. I might be, though I’m not the best at running these type of things as time differences makes it a little tricky. |

20 years this week since the iconic 'Stacy's Mom' debuted at 11. Still an absolute tune and it was more ironic when I had a friend called Stacey then too
