2004 is one of my favourite years for music but the number ones aren’t the best representation.

2004 being 20 years ago is going to feel so weird

Same! 2014 being 10 years ago is another thing that will take some time getting used to sad.gif

20 years this year since the legendary banger that is "Lean Back" by Terror Squad ft Fat Joe & Remy Ma. Still sounds as good now as it did back in '04!

Wasn’t sure where to ask this sorry.

Would there be any interest or would the mods be happy hosting an album listen through for Natasha Bedingfield’s debut album Unwritten?

Given the single is currently enjoying a resurgence it might be a nice time to do it.

Don't see why we couldn't really as we did for Sophie. I think it'd be worth it more if a couple more faces took part in it though as the activity had decreased for these listenthroughs towards the latter half of the year.

I mean would you be up for running it One For Sorrow? happy.gif

Understandable.

I might be, though I’m not the best at running these type of things as time differences makes it a little tricky.

the following songs have now also celebrated their 20th birthday

Scissor Sisters - Comfortably Numb (cover version of Pink Floyd although I was familiar with this version first)
Maroon 5 - Harder To Breathe (this was their debut hit and remains one of their best efforts)
LMC vs. U2 - Take Me To The Clouds Above (dance track sampling U2 'With Or Without You' and Whitney 'How Will I Know')
Snow Patrol - Run (their first major hit)

20 years this week since the iconic 'Stacy's Mom' debuted at 11. Still an absolute tune and it was more ironic when I had a friend called Stacey then too laugh.gif
