I can't wait for this! Hopefully we don't have to wait too long.

Oh my f***ing god yes

Posted by: gavindeejay 11th June 2018, 05:10 PM

This better be good!

Posted by: Cqmerqn 11th June 2018, 05:58 PM

Hyped!!

Posted by: Bjork 11th June 2018, 07:38 PM

amazed everybody wants to work with him, don't think he has delivered anything extraordinary since his 1st single, rather the opposite

Posted by: Tombo 11th June 2018, 07:39 PM

That's a combination I never saw coming!

Posted by: Dexton 12th June 2018, 12:57 AM

This could be amazing

Oh I did love "Raging" with Kodaline wub.gif

Urgh this sounds horrible, Kygo hasn't put out a good song in years & ID have about 2 good songs ever.

Ehem.. you are wrong x Well in terms of ID, Kygo has the odd non-generic song every so often

I wonder if this’ll be a remix? ie U2 vs Kygo style, or if it’ll be more like Raging where it’s essentially the bands song until the chorus/drop kicks in

It's called 'Born to Be Yours'!

Posted by: hlavkus 12th June 2018, 07:07 PM

Czech radios play every Imagine Dragons and every Kygo single to the death so they'll definitely love this

Posted by: Klumzee 12th June 2018, 07:08 PM

that title is so Lana Del Rey laugh.gif excited to hear what this combination can create!

Posted by: photografdemon 14th June 2018, 11:08 AM

Well, I've heard it and it's a CLASSIC combination of both Kygo & Dragons in terms of their sound. Like the first thought that comes to mind when we think about their collab - that's how it sounds.

Umm excuse. Kygo hasn't put out a bad song in years (if he even has ever done that).

Posted by: Dobbo 14th June 2018, 11:47 AM

His last good song was Stay. Both It Ain't Me & especially First Time were garbage in my opinion. Considering he was seen as a pioneer of tropical house crossing over with the incredible Firestone he sure let standards slip.

Posted by: Dexton 14th June 2018, 12:08 PM

To be fair all Kygo has done is recreate songs like Firestone since then (although It Ain’t Me saw a bit more change). But is Firestone even that good? It’s great that it managed to be a crossover hit and ignite a new trend but if Stole The Show became the Firestone-size hit instead of Firestone back in 2015 I don’t think anyone would really care. I like Kygo but no one can deny that he is just reworking the same old format for his songs.

Oh my. For me "Stargazing", "This Town", "With You" and "Remind Me To Forget" from his last album were all 10/10 songs. "It Ain't Me" was good but a bit basic. I loved "First Time" and have never understood why it's so hated lmao.

Oh yeah don't get me wrong I enjoy almost everything he puts out laugh.gif First Time was an exception though but only because I can't stand Ellie's grating voice on it

Posted by: Liаm 14th June 2018, 03:46 PM

It's such a shame because I remember hearing Kygo remixes before Firestone came out and thinking that the sound was so incredibly fresh and what the chart needed, fast forward a few years and the sound is everything I dislike about the charts laugh.gif He's just re-creating the same feel for most songs as said, when he's capable of SO much more (I guess he can't help tropical house becoming such a saturated sound though).

I love It Ain't Me though, Selena sounds perfect on it wub.gif

Posted by: mdh 14th June 2018, 03:52 PM

'Stargazing' was great, but that was the only thing from his last era that I could really get into. I doubt he'll ever beat 'Firestone' and 'Stole The Show'.

Posted by: Bjork 14th June 2018, 04:07 PM

firestone and stole the show were both amazing
then he announced his debut album and had all these amazing collaborations with like all my fav artists at that time
kodaline, james vincent mcmorrow, tom odell, angus & julia stone, it was like a dream come true, had these huge expectations
but the album was a big big big disappointment and there was not a good thing in there, all the collaborations were mediocre

then he moved to work with bigger names and I did like the selena track but the one with ellie was very disappointing again

I think kygo has talent but he's very limited and a bit of a 1 trick pony

Posted by: mdh 14th June 2018, 08:33 PM

Ohh this is better than anything he's put out recently. Drop is very 'Firestone'/'Stole The Show'-esque which is only a good thing.

Surprisingly good indie-dance crossover!

Posted by: BridgeCow 15th June 2018, 06:42 AM

This is great wub.gif gives me proper classic Kygo vibes, that drop is so clean and crisp

Posted by: Cqmerqn 15th June 2018, 05:02 PM

LOOVE!! Should be a big hit globally

Up to 3 in the US!!

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 15th June 2018, 05:04 PM

I really hope ID can get their highest peaking song over here with this! Their highest is Sucker for Pain at #11 (with a billion different artists!).

Radioactive, Believer and Thunder all feel like bigger hits than they actually were.

Posted by: Dexton 16th June 2018, 02:05 PM

I hope we get an official video before long too, ID have made some 10/10 videos in the past

Posted by: Cqmerqn 17th June 2018, 09:58 AM

This is currently the best selling song in the world biggrin.gif

#2 in the US too

Posted by: Dobbo 17th June 2018, 02:11 PM

Well, I am SO happy they've gone & completely exceeded my expectations. This is sounding great!

Posted by: Tombo 24th June 2018, 12:41 AM

This sounds quite boring, I’m not really impressed

I agree with you Liam about just recreating the same sound, this is like Firestone part 10. I do like quite a lot of his songs though, despite the similarities

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 27th July 2018, 07:15 PM

A very different video from what I was expecting!

Posted by: Jαsє 27th July 2018, 10:24 PM

I really want to like this but I just find it a bit average tbh sad.gif
