Predict the position Spice will re-enter the album chart, and how much you think it could sell! To help you all out with the sales poll, this is what the sales were in the 5th November 2020 chart, the equivalent week to Spice 25 (which will chart on 4th November 2021): 25,000: #2 20,000 - 25,000: #2 or #3 15,000 - 19,999: #3 - #5 10,000 - 14,999: #5 9,000 - 9,999: #5 or #6 8,000 - 8,999: #6 7,000 - 7,999: #6 - #8 6,000 - 6,999: #8 - #11 5,000 - 5,999: #11 - #13 4,000 - 4,999: #13 - #17 3,000 - 3,999: #17 - #28 2,000 - 2,999: #28 - #53 1,000 - 1,999: #53 - #149 < 1,000: #150 or lower (the #200 sold 864 copies) The Top 10 sales levels could be quite different in Spice 25's release week, it totally depends on how strong the release schedule is, but generally speaking the sales regions for below Top 10 will likely be around that. But I would go on the premise that 7,000 is likely to be enough for Top 10, and 10,000 would hopefully be sufficient for Top 5. |

I'll be optimistic and say #4 with about 9.5k sales.

I'll be optimistic and say #7 with roughly 8000 copies sold. Out of the chart the next week...

I predict: let’s get rid of that annoying Sheeran. The little Spice Girls deserve #1 again. Unfortunately, streaming will destroy any chances to land a top10 position.
Melanie C (team) showed us how - with a little effort - playlists can make a difference. I want the people in charge to effing promote their Spotify account, instead of wasting time on social media (nobody cares about it). Spend money on TikTok and push people to listen to those songs on Spotify. Fans will be the ones buying the physical copies! PS: if you haven’t, take a look at what ABBA are doing. Cool, cool digital strategy! |

Cool, cool digital strategy! That all makes sense to me. Their social media is soooo limited comparatevely with other more contemporary acts, because their fanbase is not as obsessed with it since we didnt have it at the time. Their streaming NEEDS to be looked into more aggressively, that's for sure. The deal they have with Spotify will be of help, for sure and I hope they double down on it comes Oct/November. About ABBA, im not fussed to be honest. I understand it is something new, but I dont care for avatars. For me, that is not exciting at all, as I prefer the live experience with the human artists, so will stay away. For me, it's barely a step up from what they are doing with that awful Whitney Houston hologram... The new music is also not that great imo. But I respect they are experimenting and at least giving the fans something *new* for once... Just hope that if the girls do indeed get inspiration from ABBA, that it is not the bloody avatar shit and instead they focus on making new music and touring. I dont need something that will 'change the culture', they already did that and then went quiet. What I need is new music. |

Cool, cool digital strategy! Mel C charting at #8 had nothing to do with streaming it was just the multiple formats that did it. In the grand scheme of things Mel's streaming numbers are still bad. It will be the same for the Spice Girls, the multi formats will give it big 1st week physical sales and chart high but relative (though Spice streaming is obviously a lot stronger than Melanie C the album) lack of streaming will see it fall quickly down the charts. Sales will be a bit higher in November but it still won't take a huge amount of sales to make top 10 and it has 12 new formats, the download and streaming. |

I dont need something that will 'change the culture', they already did that and then went quiet. What I need is new music. Check their TikTok, the new generations are getting crazy, the streaming numbers are unexpectedly great, and they might get two UK top10s next week! There’s a but though, and it’s a pretty big butt: 1) new music 2) they are personally involved with videos and challenges (at least two of them) Now, if the girls can commit to at least something like that, and they come back with great music (no ironing shirts, boom boom pop, or bells ringing), I’m in. I can believe I’m saying this, but I’ll be glad to support them. Even if that means accepting having two Posh in the band, or just one (Geri). What pisses me off is the lack of commitment from all 5 of them. If music has to be, let it be good and with a great strategy behind. Edit: I know it’s boring to hear, but I want the girls to be #1 so they’re happy. Try to put yourself in their shoes and think how they fear expectations. Could you please tell me compared to who Melanie’s streaming numbers are bad? |

They have to *commit* which is probably the main reason they wont do it anytime soon |

Possibly close to the Top 5 with sales slightly short of 20,000.

I’ve voted #4 and 10,000 - 14,999! Fingers crossed for that, or even higher of course.

A Top 10 placement would be so lovely to see and looks almost certain.
I would like to see 2nd week predictions. |

I fear what a second week position would look like If it could even stay Top 100 for a second week, that would be something!

I hope in the top 10 but a top 20 for an album from 25 years ago would also be great

I'm assuming it will be classed as a re entry rather than a new entry when it returns.

I should think it'll be a re-entry! The midweeks had Wannabe down as a re-entry.
I think it's only when a separate label does re-issues that OCC consider it as something separate. For instance the reissues of Kylie's first five albums were all considered new entries by OCC. However Spice Girls are still with Virgin and EMI which is a part of Universal Music Group. |
