In what has been dubbed as Takeshi's Castle meets Total Wipeout, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a battle-royale style game where you face off against 99 other competitors to see who is the last one standing. Featuring a host of different mini games, ranging from solo obstacle course races through to team based challenges, it is already a HUGE hit on Twitch and YouTube, with multiple users streaming the beta PC version (with a limited number of mini-games and only 60 competitors) with their mates.
And as an added bonus, anyone who has Playstation Plus will be able to download the full game free as part of August's PS+ lineup!
The developers have stated that they focused on online gameplay so that they could get the game out faster, but that there is the potential for local split-screen play in future updates.
I'm super excited for this, been watching for a few weeks now on YouTube and it looks so fun and refreshing to see an online party game that actually looks like it wouldn't be stuck in the bargain baskets.

I actually bought a game for the first time in years so I could play this. It's great fun, although I've only got past the 1st round once in two days, so I've gone out and bought a games controller (have been using the keyboard so far) so I can see if it helps.

Made it through to the final round for the first time today, so I can feel like I've achieved something. Still haven't been able to make it through Slime Climb yet, if I do that then I know I've mastered the game.

Best advice for Slime Climb might be to just take it slow and don't treat it like a race, since it never hits capacity. The killer tends to be when it's too crowded and you get bumped off unexpectedly.

I need three people to play with on PS4 if anyone is willing and able lol.
Currently won 28 finals, going to try and get 30 before the end of the day.

I know it's a meme, but I feel like more than anything else, everyone just utilises survival instinct and bullies whichever team is already losing (except in Team Tail Tag). In Rock N Roll, it feels like blue team has the disadvantage because anyone who runs interference on the other two teams will have to reach blue team first, while blue have to commit to one target immediately with the other one being too far away once they've made up their mind.

It's the way the teams are set up with regards to playing in groups with others online.
As far as I'm aware, if you're playing with a group of 3 of your friends in a squad, then you'll default to Red Team, then Blue Team once Red Team is full. The Yellow Team is normally made up of players playing by themselves.
It makes sense that the Red and Blue teams are more co-ordinated, as they'll be made up of, for example, 2-3 squads of 4 players, whereas the Yellow team would be 12 individual players.

Interesting if true! Never seen anyone mention anything like this but now I'm going to keep an eye on it. A friend of mine mentioned that they were in a 4v4 Fall Ball game with their squad member on the other team, which I figured to mean that the other two teams were made up of 3 person squads.

I daren't try any online games these days even if I wanted to because I can never rely on my connection holding, but I have been enjoying watching VTubers, particularly my faves Pekora and Korone, get frustrated playing this.
I feel like this is going to be great to watch where you don't have to feel the frustration yourself.

This game is absolutely hilarious I love it so much!! A fantastic way to unwind a bit after work. I’m really looking forward to cross platform play so I can team up with my PC playing mate and form a team.

Nick's sister showed this to us last weekend and I had no idea it was such a new game. I've bought a Playstation online membership especially to play, first time I've touched my PS4 in months. Becoming obsessed.

I gave in. Connection holding up far better than I expected it to in the new place.
I have already had in one day several incidences of either getting eliminated or being saved from being eliminated at the last second. This could be a fun little thing for a while. As long as it gets updates, and it sounds like they are planning that.

The second season is now available as an update. It’s got a medieval theme! Plus lots of new levels which are quite hard at first.

I won my first episode yesterday and I was so happy 
Literally stole the tail from someone else as the round was declared over
I like the temporary 'gauntlet mode' that's in the new season right now as the team rounds can be so frustrating, but the downside is that the survival rounds are pretty much my faves
I've managed Slime Climb twice now, first time a couple of days ago, and definitely feel this. It was the balance beams that I found most tricky as I'd been jumping onto the first one but now I've figured out how to get past them, I think I'll be successful at it a lot more.

Oh congrats Jahq! It’s been so difficult to win any episodes, I think only once I managed it so far (winning on the jump finale).
Slime Climb is still annoying for me for the reasons you already mentioned but I did complete it a couple of times in a row and then I couldn’t finish again lol.
I haven’t yet figured out what this Gauntlet mode is all about as it seems the same as the standard mode?

I believe Gauntlet Mode features just the 'Race' categorised games, great if you don't like team games, not so great if you're not fond of Fall Mountain being locked as the finale round every time.

From today, Fall Guys is now available for free on X Box and Nintendo Switch!
I think it needs some tweaking though as I’m reading about a lot of bugs today with its launch so maybe hold fire from installing just yet.

Not played in a few months (since completing the season 6 fame pass I guess) but excited to get back into it with new players (if I can ever get into a show again - for me it keeps coming up with '57/60 populating' and the countdown until it starts, then the countdown hits 0 and all that info disappears and I don't get put into a game, the cycle just starts over. Same issue on PS4 and Switch )

Major outages today across all Epic Games caused by some kind of Fortnite event and now gamers can’t even play Fall Guys, Rocket League and more. Such a mess.
