Just had my first listen. So good! It's definitely got an 80s feel to it, it reminds me a bit of The Police to listen to! Very catchy.

The video is premiering at midday:

Yes agreed about The Police connection. Giving me Message In A Bottle vibes! Really like it on first listen!

Will jumping on that 80s bandwagon! I'm here for it though, it's sounding good.

I like that, catchy! I get the 80's reference but it's very classic Will electro ballad.

Welcome back WILL! Been supporting him now for 22 years from the beginning. A new Will Young album is likely to be another masterpiece. The new single is good, I've seen better & worse lead singles from him.

Didn't know he was back properly with BMG again, how amazing! Loved what he did with Cooking Vinyl but it's good because they can give him a proper budget for the release and music videos which I think the last two albums lacked in getting him some decent promo slots and interviews, he will have access to a tv plugger and promoter for radio.

The choice to go 80s is wise it will appeal to the Scissor Sisters, ABBA and radio 2 80's loving audience. Good choice to also have the same age as him dancers! It's a grower but catchy already and likely what I will hammer until the album is released with probably a even stronger single. He does melancholy so well. 8/10 for the single for me for now.
