4. Name a single by a solo artist that stayed in the same position for three consecutive weeks outside of the top 10 (10-75)?

I included this question because i was obsessed with Success (Dannii Minogue) as a 7 year old , it spent three weeks at number 11 in 1991 smile.gif

So many pointless answers here , have taken note if i ever host again to not make the question so broad smile.gif

Why didn't you make it for songs that peaked *outside* the Top 10 and the consecutive weeks being at their peak position.

The best one for this is "Run To You" by Bryan Adams. Four weeks at its peak #11 in 1985! biggrin.gif He had to wait 6 years to get into the Top 10, and did with style, the longest consecutive run at #1 (16 weeks).

I should've gone with my first instinct, which was All by Myself, Celine Dion's cover charted higher than the original Eric Carmen
but imagined everybody would go for it wink.gif biggrin.gif

2 pointless answers, but several incorrect ones, I know I got Tears On My Pillow one wrong, totally forgot about American Pie, should have got that especially with the Madonna question

Perhaps I'm in place of "cantthinkofaname" who appears to have also scored 33...

If you press the '+' button where it says 'Chart Facts' it gives a breakdown of the number of weeks it spent in each section - it only spent 15 weeks in the Top 75!
