Yeah Hallelujah was the first thought but my next port of call was the John Lewis collection since they're all covers

4. Name a single by a solo artist that stayed in the same position for three consecutive weeks outside of the top 10 (10-75)? I included this question because i was obsessed with Success (Dannii Minogue) as a 7 year old , it spent three weeks at number 11 in 1991 So many pointless answers here , have taken note if i ever host again to not make the question so broad Why didn't you make it for songs that peaked *outside* the Top 10 and the consecutive weeks being at their peak position. The best one for this is "Run To You" by Bryan Adams. Four weeks at its peak #11 in 1985! He had to wait 6 years to get into the Top 10, and did with style, the longest consecutive run at #1 (16 weeks). |

I should've gone with my first instinct, which was All by Myself, Celine Dion's cover charted higher than the original Eric Carmen
but imagined everybody would go for it |

2 pointless answers, but several incorrect ones, I know I got Tears On My Pillow one wrong, totally forgot about American Pie, should have got that especially with the Madonna question

I also had Evelyn King Champagne but not listed
Perhaps I'm in place of "cantthinkofaname" who appears to have also scored 33... This post has been edited by chrissmith276: 28th May 2018, 11:52 AM |

My answer says 28 weeks here unless that was top 100 http://www.officialcharts.com/search/singl...20in%20forever/ If you press the '+' button where it says 'Chart Facts' it gives a breakdown of the number of weeks it spent in each section - it only spent 15 weeks in the Top 75! |
