Cast looks decent! Let's hope it's better than the mess that was last year.

Posted by: CSB 127 17th June 2019, 11:29 PM

just the fact that they got tommy bracco from newsies should make people excited

Posted by: Stray Cody 19th June 2019, 12:16 AM

First Impression (after Ika's interviews) Stuff:
Nick: Well he gives a shit about mental health which makes him better than most people on tumblr so that's a plus. Lost me at being a Tyler stan but then got me back for stanning Vanessa heart.gif I swear he looks like this one guy I went to uni with. He's also shit at acting but Ika assures him that there's room to grow. I'm... on the fence with him.

Jack: Yeah I'm not feeling this guy, kinda similar to Tyler last season. However unlike Tyler I think he's gonna luck out in a lot of things and have much better jury management. We'll see.

Cliff: He reminds me of a Disney villain, so... no.

Ovi: AP Sociology is a thing? I'm pretty excited for him. Also appreciated that he was talking about representation, I had the same feeling he had when Kaycee won last season heart.gif heart.gif

Holly: boring piece of plywood, kinda just getting a mean girl vibe from her.

Kathryn: kinda seems too calculated like holly was but I'm getting a more chaotic vibe from her so we'll see.

Bella: She was the one who caught my eye the most when the cast list came out. Talks about a strict upbringing, I'm Asian so I relate tongue.gif She seems like a cool person, can't really tell how she will be as a player.

Tommy: This is Spot Conlon from Newsies. Thirty seconds in and I'm in LOVE with him. The way he was talking about getting starstruck with Da'Vonne was an absoute treat heart.gif heart.gif I feel like he could win AFP if he wins over enough of the GP. Broadway fans will be supporting him a lot.

also he's so goddamn attractive I can't

Jessica: She reminds me of people at work who I totally vibe with. She's probably the most likable out of the entire cast. God, I wish their interview was longer.

Analyse: Predicting that she's gonna be messy af. Probably a comp beast but somewhere in the middle of the game rather than earlier. If there is someone who I think will pull a Haleigh and have everyone in the fandom in her corner it's probably gonna be her.

Jackson: ddd not buying him but then again Brett surprised me so we'll see. The southern hospitality thing will probably be thrown out the window as soon as he steps foot in the house. Also predicting that he will say the first bigoted opinion of the season. He honestly looks more like a Bachelorette contestant than a Big Brother housemate. Still can't respect anyone who stans Paul

Kemi: I have a feeling that she's gonna kill it, she's very likable and seems like she could be pretty good at the game. Surprised BBTumblr isn't clocking her for being a new fan considering how they treat new fans.

Christie: She cares about integrity and authenticity, already loving her. I feel like last season set the precedent for the token crackhead of the season, so I definitely see Christie becoming our meme queen of the season.

David: He's kinda boring? Thank God Ika called him out for being boring.

Nicole: Just by looking at her I can already tell that she's gonna be the next Sam. Extremely volatile, will probably play emotionally. Not for it.

Sam ACTUAL Smith: his full name is gonna bother me this entire season sksksksksk drama.gif He's kinda nice, I think he might be a wild card. Apparently he admitted that he's more liberal than people think? Interesting.

Ranking:
1. Jessica
2. Bella

PREMIERE NIGHT LET’S GO

Posted by: Aaron. 26th June 2019, 01:10 AM

I'm usually very critical episode 1 for casting. This I feel is a huge step up. It's like it was casted for gays, by gays!

LOVE
Kemi - QUEEN. Bring it girl.
Jessica - I really like her, I wish the other girls would have stuck with her and given her the power. She's stunning!
Analyse - Jordan/Daniele are her favorite players. Um. Yes. I just hope this bitch doesn't get into a relationship in there. She seems to have a good head on her shoulders. I need her focused and not distracted by a man.
Isabella - QUEEN. I love her so much. Please don't disappoint ussss!!!

LIKE
Jack - I feel so bad saying I 'like' him when I hate Jackson and they're basically the same person playing the same game.. but this guy has personality. He can do really well, I just hope he's in a large alliance I like and doesn't "Bro It Up" this season and makes me hate him.
Christie - She can go either way really. Doesn't seem to be the strongest gameplayer however.
Sam Smith - I kinda found him cute with his family and describing his job.. but he needs to not yell in the DR plz.

MEH
Holly - Didn't see too much of her.
David - He like to work out. And?
Kathryn - Teetering on Like, kinda fell into the background there a little bit.
Ovi - Teetering on Like, it seems like he's going to get along with these mucho men. He just seems like an early/easy boot for me.
Nick - Meh is the definition right now for Nick.. no way around that.

HATE
Nicole - I hate this bitch already.
Tommy - I want to really like him, but his mannerisms are so off putting.
Cliff - If they're going to give us an old man, at least make them interesting or give them a good backstory.
Jackson - Unlike Jack this guy has zero personality and is very boring to listen to and watch. Please go home early.

This season has potential very early on as long as the douche's don't all gang up and form a large alliance. There are a few obvious early boots, but there's also a few floaters I can see that will likely make it far. This is probably one of the strongest group of girls (perhaps not strategically - but from a watchability perspective). I do require however Nicole/Cliff and Jackson as the first three boots however.

KATHRYN NEEDS TO F*CKING CHILL

no one can understand what she’s saying in the intro packages bc she talks so damn fast

“Jason mimosa” is hilarious tho

Posted by: Stray Cody 27th June 2019, 06:13 AM

why I decide to go on tumblr to follow this season I’m-

Posted by: Aaron. 27th June 2019, 12:02 PM

I'll just say I don't hate the Holly/Christie/Isabella/Jack/Jackson/Nick alliance. If they need to sacrafice Jackson that would be amazing and just have those 5 I'd be very happy.
I'm also not upset at David leaving either.
I do need Cliff and Nicole to be the next to go however.

Posted by: Klaus 27th June 2019, 09:47 PM

lol you know we’re back at civillian Big Brother when they pick the white jock as house leader who in turn banishes the two black houseguests, the only plus sized girl and the older guy.

I feel it’ll be yet another pretty guy/girl domination yawn

I've not found a reason to dislike them yet either. Isabella was one of my faves from the bios/Ika interviews and during the premiere, and this is the first time whilst I've been watching BB US that there's been a Jack in the house so I feel like I want to support my namesake. Nick seems like a nice guy too with his work with kids.

I'm worried with a Christie HOH that she's just going to target Kemi or Jessica now though sad.gif It seems like an easy move since they were already 'banished' and by getting rid of one of them, it would protect Jackson and thus be good for the alliance.

Sam Smith is my initial least favourite, he came across as loud and annoying and his VT had 'Trump supporter' written all over it

Posted by: Liаm 28th June 2019, 01:58 PM

Christie and Isabella are my instant queens *.* I'm only just on the premiere tho need to watch the other episode over the weekend when I have time

Jessica, Nick and Ovi are my other faves so far, hopefully they all hold out as being promising! Sam really needs to stfu, but my worst so far is Jackson. He's the kind of dude bro Republican who could easily either be burnt out by 3rd eviction or get far and win AFP drama.gif

Also not a fan of this launch twist, wayyyy too much power too soon but hopefully that ends up going against Jackson so he's more of a Cody than a Tyler.

Just quoting from one of his interviews, he says "I don't care if anybody likes me, coming from Pennsylvania I'm used to get a lot of hate cause of my liberal views, it doesn't bother me" so I doubt he's a Trump supporter. He 100% needs to tone it down in the DR but I know he won't, must be a Pennsylvania thing because Johnny Mac was exactly the same (only funnier laugh.gif)

I'm hoping Sam and Nick turn out to be decent HGs and feel like Jack could be a better version of Austin from BB17 (edit: well that was a nice idea while it lasted). Isabella and Christie are my current faves as well out of the ladies!

From what's been on feeds, Jack is already a grade A c-bomb, Jackson isn't much better laugh.gif Pre-feeds Jackson and Kat had sex lmao

SCREAMING

Posted by: Riser 3rd July 2019, 04:18 AM

It would've been iconic if Christie had nominated Jack last-minute, but evicting a huge threat on week 1 would've made her a threat too so ultimately I'm glad she didn't. Just relieved she didn't follow through with nominating Kemi!

Posted by: cantthinkofaname 3rd July 2019, 08:22 AM

Why does BBUS always feel so forced? Like the confessionals and the way everything is edited feels so incredibly produced and fake. Immediately dislike it when people feed into this so Jessica, Sam, Kemi, Bella, Tommy all irritate me a bit based on this but I'm reserving judgement until I'm further into the season.

Additionally I'm surprised BBUS is so censored as well. Maybe that's why this feels fake because we're not seeing these people for who they really are but moreso for the PG-13 versions of themselves that production wants us to see because "[they] really don’t want to put hateful things out there in [their] edits.” (direct quote from executive producer Allison Grodner)

It's just so obvious they're being forcefed these cringeworthy lines to say and encouraged to be the most basic stereotypical versions of themselves (i.e. Sam being a redneck, Tommy being so flamboyantly gay but also aggressively italian, Bella feeding into the "asian parents expect nothing but success from their kids" trope, Jessica being SALSA SALSA LATINA BABY all the itme, Jack being BRUHHH, etc) which makes this SO hard to enjoy. I've tried with previous seasons as well but they have been hard to get into for this exact same reason.

My namesake single handedly saving Kemi yes sis yahoo.gif

Posted by: Aaron. 3rd July 2019, 12:07 PM

Christie is so sloppy. But I love it.
I'm also loving Isabella, but I don't see her making it very far.. she's going to be a huge social threat and be kicked out pre-jury or just after the jury starts, in my guess.
Ugh, I guess Cliff is the goat of the season.. he's going to make it far I think.
The good thing is tho I don't think Jack has any chance of winning. At all. Jackson has a better chance than he does.. oh how things changed so quickly..

Posted by: Cody Season 3rd July 2019, 05:17 PM

Bella is so good on paper but messy on feeds, she joins every alliance she’s a part of and then rate them to the Jacks, and she’s been caught in her own share of lies tongue.gif

It’s also very interesting to see the difference between casuals and live feeders, the former group got the sense that Nick aided in Christie changing her mind while the live feeders saw that Nicole had a conversation with Christie, who was in tears at this point, and that solidified her changes tongue.gif She’s been such a delightful surprise and I think I might be stanning her at this point!

Posted by: Liаm 3rd July 2019, 05:25 PM

"Good on paper but messy on feeds" is the subtitle for this season laugh.gif Nicole is really playing very very well so far though!!

I stan Christie being so sloppy as well, I think she's thinking way too much about setting herself up well, she wants to please everyone so makes a whole bigger mess in trying to clean up one thing, it's gonna definitely come back to bite her.

I find it so cringeworthy too, it happens every season but usually dies down after the first couple weeks and they'll eventually show their genuine personalities. I feel like it hasn't been as bad this season though, they have their usual stereotypes but I at least haven't heard any self-proclaimed nicknames this time (such as Beast Mode Cowboy, Puerto Rican sensation, etc.)

Sam's not really a redneck, just a truck driver with a tattoo, but I realize that wasn't your point, I'm being overly pedantic laugh.gif

Well I think it's time to give up on this season already

Not keen on the sound of this twist. I know comeback competitions are a very regular thing, but I fear that being so open about it and keeping the evictees in the house until one of them wins the right to be back in the game will lead to the next couple of weeks being played super safe

Also what a waste of the first power lol

Posted by: Aaron. 4th July 2019, 02:49 PM

Ugh. What a shitty start to this season.
These housemates as a collective are very annoying. I've always hated the little display they put on in the walk between the House and the DR when voting, but they took it to a new level last night.

I don't understand why they waited until last night to unleash Camp Comeback.... are we just supposed to forget that David was out of the house for 13 days? Why wasn't the twist introduced when he got evicted? I'm shocked that they're even attempting this twist.. I always thought they would, but they just did something similar on Survivor and even the host admitted it was a nightmare and they'd never do it again.

I thought Jessica vs Jack was the perfect ending to that HOH.. well, the perfect ending would have been Jessica winning.. but it just shows the potential for anyone winning and flipping the house. I've read that Jack is the most hated houseguest ever as a headline, but I haven't really seen what he's said/done inside or outside of the house for people to come to this conclusion - I need to start reading up on that.

Yeah... really the only one I'm enjoying at the moment is Isabella. It's hard to put my love and support behind Kemi because she just looks so uncomfortable all the time. Kathryn and Christie have potential for sure. Holly/Jessica/Analyse are completely invisible at this point.

This twist is so dumb btw, at this point it'd be more of a shock twist if they just left it alone!! The format is exciting enough, watching how people interact and how events change things, you don't need to add some stupid extra competition or just basically take out evictions entirely... Nobody's gonna play hard and that's always what makes the first few weeks interesting.

JACKSON AND HOLLY GOT REPRIMANDED BY PRODUCTION I have to scream

Posted by: Liаm 5th July 2019, 12:01 AM

Ranking/impressions

Isabella - lowkey a queen, I feel like she could go either way and either really be a contender or totally flop, given how this season is looking probably the latter :')

Ovi - he just seems so sweet, I hope he comes back in the camp comeback thing sad.gif I'm lowkey crushing too, like he's cute and you know he'd treat you right

Nicole - impressed with her so far, queen of saving Kemi *.*

Kemi - I want to stan her more than I do, but she's an intriguing and complex character, I feel so awful for how they're all treating her sad.gif

Jessica - she just seems sweet and fun, which in this cast is needed.

Kathryn - I kind of stan her being ditzy too, the showmance segment was AWFUL but as a person she's kinda fun, I'm not mad at her hanging around a while just because she's 0 threat which I can see happening (although this twist might see her as easy fodder to evict but not come back)

Sam - seems a decent guy but needs to stfu in the diary room

Christie - an absolute hot steaming MESS, only this high because it's entertaining. I wanted to love her and did initially but she's been kinda problematic falling into the bad crowd, she's too emotional of a player to do well that's for sure

Cliff - obvious goat as said already, decent guy but meh

David - he's fiiiiiiiiiiine but we haven't seen enough, he's gonna get boosted by how vile certain people are being tho

Tommy - honestly HU, practically invisible at this point

Nick - really disappointing, but kinda hot, I hope he breaks out of the shadow of this shit alliance and does something good

Analyse - mean girl, but in a way that feels like she's just going along with whatever they do so she stays popular, too vapid to have her own personality or opinions

Holly - true mean girl, she just seems really nasty with some of the stuff she's said about Kemi and Bella for example, one of those who's ego gets a bit inflated and thinks she's untouchable for being on the "right" side (for now)

Jackson - I never like the whole dude bro vibe really, like it was charming for Brett but Jackson just isn't likeable one bit and can't carry it off, I pray to god he's one of those play too hard types because I feel like the potential is there for that

Jack - actually vile, cannot believe the stuff he's been saying about Ovi, Kemi, Jessica and David, his obsession with targeting the only diversity in this cast is concerning and very telling :whisltle:

Posted by: Cody Season 5th July 2019, 01:19 AM

I think people are giving Tommy less credit than he deserves. He’s playing a rat’s game, but he’s communicating with both sides and building up a social profile. However, unlike most people in the 8, he’s trying his best to soften blows and hide himself behind more emotionally volatile targets. Cliff put it best when he told Ovi that “he doesn’t want to hurt anyone”. We have learned through Paul and Tyler losing that you cannot play the game and manipulate people and be an ass to them. I think for him, he’s trying to be more socially aware and choose his words carefully as to not hurt the emotional voter. That way, if the 8 falls and he gets blood on his hands, the houseguests are gonna be more inclined to assume that he didn’t know better. Avoiding any major flaws, the HG’s are going to have the least amount of problems with him in the long run. Christie’s already shown herself to be emotionally volatile with the crackheadedness that is her HOH Run, Bella’s plating too hard, NICK’S CONTINUOUSLY HORNY ON MAIN, and the other four (Analyse/Holly/Jack/Jackson) have already built up a reputation for being mean-spirited.

Look at the difference between how most of the 8 treated Kemi the first three days of feeds vs how he did. Most of them ostracized her and talked shit about her, while Tommy still befriended her and gave her credit for whatever game she was playing and the potential she has rather than give a BS reason that would look racist af.

I think people can play hard if that’s their style, and that’s fine but the game has evolved so much that future HG’s are starting to realize that manipulation is not the only way to play anymore, and I think it’s refreshing for someone to realize this and adapt it to the current batch of HG’s. Not surprising to see this from a Da’vonne stan though.

-

It’s kinda refreshing for a guy I find attractive to be this good at the game. Brett last year was an absolute MESS.

Posted by: JosephAvery 7th July 2019, 12:47 PM

On the level of the TV show I'm enjoying this season so far, there's enough happening (and "are you bitches conspiring against me?" is my new favourite thing laugh.gif). Intrigued by the twist, not totally convinced it'll work though.

I don't follow the feeds much but it's been impossible to avoid the controversy around what's really happening though, and it's truly disgusting. It's becoming way too frequent an occurrence in this show, and people are being given a free run to behave atrociously and in a derogatory manner without facing the real world consequences. This really needs to be looked at - once was more than enough.

Posted by: Liаm 7th July 2019, 01:14 PM

The actual show is entertaining enough, moreso than last year, but it's really putting me off wanting to watch when they are just allowing such ignorance, whether it's racism, misogyny, whatever, happen and try and brush it off. They never show it on the actual show (I know they did in BB15 with Aaryn only because Julie Chen got involved and was offended I believe), there seems to be no consequences (I know Holly and Jack have been spoken to, but it doesn't seem to have had much effect).

I mean the fact Chima got thrown out for being difficult and throwing her mic in the pool, yet racism is just fine? :') If the integrity of the game is really more important than people not having to suffer racism..... I mean I knew that they won't get thrown out because Aaryn or JC didn't, but you think they'd learn from the past. Being more careful with casting or holding people accountable for what they do really isn't that hard.

I don’t think we need to imagine - it DID happen in Celebrity Big Brother?!

I will give this season a few episodes to turn things around but if Jack’s side is just going to dominate, I will give up.

Yeah but didn't production get involved and eject those who did that and showed what was really happening in the highlights show. It bothers me how they try to pretend it doesn't even happen.

I can’t believe they are allowed to be so blatantly racist, they would have been booted out of Big Brother UK had it happened here!

No one was ejected during that Celebrity Big Brother though.

Danielle and Jade were given a heads up and Jade came out to no crowd by way of protecting her, however none of the behaviour was deemed bad enough for them to be removed.

Obviously subsequent (and usually less racist) behaviour in other series' was; Emily in BB8 was ejected for mis-using the 'N' word for instance when there was no real intent. That was just ignorance on her part

But at least they showed what was going on and were given a grilling in their interviews. The only time that's happened in BBUS really is with Aaryn.

Yeah that is true. I guess due to how BBUS is with the jury house etc they let those HMs off in terms of saying anything. Which from a viewer perspective is so bloody annoying and frustrating

Posted by: Liаm 10th July 2019, 10:29 AM

They can afford a jury ejection tbh because they can just have a public voted slot instead, so there's really no excuse for it pre-jury other than that it messes up the game a bit in terms of numbers. Even so they can just not have a double if one is ejected, but that's the highest rated episode other than the final a lot of years I believe so they'd rather have the ratings and the game structure than do anything about the shit that's being said drama.gif

Posted by: Liаm 15th July 2019, 12:05 PM

Jesus christ, Jackson apparently has a criminal record of domestic violence, and got loud/aggressive with Kat (and others) to the point where she felt intimidated.

Nick is also proving himself to be trash of the highest calibre, accusing Nicole of faking anxiety - this is a mental health therapist for children........

I love that this thread is just a diary of me pretending to be shocked when someone on this season finds a new way to be even more trash rotf.gif

Not that new but eww:

Posted by: Harve 17th July 2019, 11:54 AM

Okay, so I'm only sorta following this. I still don't know why Kat used the veto, for example. My gameplay rankings, to be taken with a pinch of salt:

1. Tommy
2. Nick
3. Analyse
4. Holly
5. Cliff
6. Kat
7. Jack
8. Nicole
9. Sam
10. Christie
11. Jackson
12. Jessica
13. Bella

This cast is dire in terms of knowing what to do. I have put two recruits at 3 and 4 just for being in the dominant alliance. Afaik they have no prior knowledge of the game, but for now they're doing the right thing keeping their heads down. It's so bad that Nicole, who pretty much talked herself onto the block, almost manages to be top half.

I would probably put David up there to make an all-male top 3, but they have been evicted, the former through normal circumstances, so perhaps take my judgement with a pinch of salt. I'd probably put Kemi pretty high up, for that matter. Obviously she's failed in that she's been evicted, but she's been treated awfully and I feel like that's the main factor to her eviction rather than any actual strategy. That's probably true to some extent for Ovi too.

And I try to separate gameplay from, like, personalities, but in this case it's pretty difficult and perhaps the majority of the cast are pretty terrible people, so I'm not sure if I'll continue watching.

Posted by: Liаm 17th July 2019, 12:33 PM

Kemi could be Dan Gheesling levels of genius and she'd still end up evicted early because she's non-white laugh.gif I can't wait for her to get out in a way, I don't want her gone as in not wanting to watch her but so that she can be out of this trash of a season with everyone treating her like dirt.

Oh my god Gr8ful are the worst thing to ever happen to big brother. This season is DIRE.

why did this show get renewed for season 22 before this season even aired it’s like production didn’t give a flying f*ck this year

at least nick’s HOH was a flop

Posted by: Klaus 19th July 2019, 07:08 PM

I was going to watch this week but just saw the three who lost camp comeback so.. yeh I’m out of this season. I struggled and struggle my way through BB19 because I always thought something would happen until it got to a pint where I was too far deep. I’m just taking this opportunity to quit while I’m ahead. If I hear that it gets a lot better later on, I may catch up but this racist cast ain’t for me.

JACK AND JACKSON ON THE BLOCK

Posted by: Liаm 21st July 2019, 09:34 PM

This could have balanced the season a little back into being tolerable ff but Jackson has veto and Cliff wants to get Jack out but Christie ofc has her power, and Jackson is gonna replace himself with Bella if she uses it. If not then Cliff has mentioned putting up Sis or Holly which would be amaze because it forces the six to get rid of one of those or Jack, presumably Jack as the bigger threat, but I don't trust him to risk that big a move, I mean he's already put Jack and Jackson up, he's might as well?? I certainly don't trust Christie not to use the power, because her game is just her trying really hard to do whatever she can at the time to please whoever she needs to please, so in this case she'll want Jackson as the veto holder not to be pissed for her not letting him choose his replacement on the block. I mean either way, if it's Bella or Jack, we're getting either the worst (Jack) or second/third worst (Bella) out but it's much more exciting if the six takes a hit.
At least Gr8ful is now the "Six Shooters" or whatever, Bella and Nick out and are targets for them now after all that's happened. A group of six ruining a season of BB with maximum two likeable people, where have I heard that before xx

Posted by: Liаm 22nd July 2019, 02:19 PM

Tommy said "the proof is in the pudding" in regards to Bella (idk what he was talking about, I've just seen the isolated clip" and Jack said "the rice pudding" :/ This f***ing trash, it's actually really angering me that CBS are doing nothing at all, they're complicit imo for just allowing racism and god knows what else to just happen.

Posted by: nickthenoodle 22nd July 2019, 09:54 PM

After watching last night's episode I think one of S*x Sh**ters will probably go? I know there's the power and assuming one of them wins the veto and Christie upgrades it and puts up say Nick or Bella I still think it'd be 5:5 (i.e. Jack/Jackson, Analyse, Holly, Christie Tommy v Kat, Nicole, Nick/Bella, Sam, Jess) Cliff breaks the tie and sends whichever one of Jackson or Jack is still on the block???

Posted by: Liаm 23rd July 2019, 09:31 PM

So Cliff is TRASH and nominated Bella as the replacement (not mad at her going as she is AWFUL but this hands the Six the season pretty much), he basically did what the Six wanted despite them just getting him out... Superfan my ass

Posted by: Cody Season 23rd July 2019, 09:37 PM

Next week America gets to send 3 houseguests on a field trip and one of their games will be "in jeopardy" - PLEASE let that mean we can be rid of one of the Jacks.

It seems like a twist that's messing with the fundamentals of the game too much though, no wonder its haemorrhaging viewers (down under 4 million for the first time in the show's history) when there's no integrity to the game anymore. I mean they just let Jackson ignore have-not rules completely by eating what he wants, with no penalty on his game, then you have all these powers. Even if we do get a week where Sam/Nicole/Nick win HOH and maybe take a shot at the Six, we've got Christie's power still there which inevitably will end up f***ing that up, just like Haleigh's HOH last year with the hacker comp. It seems like any bit of hope we have to cling to, Grodner has a stupid twist to mess it up. Idk why I'm still clinging to this season because it's even worse than BB19 laugh.gif It's just one of those shows where even if you drop out, you have to keep an eye on it just to see if anything changes (even if you know it won't).

Posted by: JosephAvery 26th July 2019, 01:50 PM

I'm still watching but it's getting more frustrating as we go on and people are definitely being put off by the fact CBS are brushing the racism etc under the rug. They need to make a stand or it's gonna continue happening every year...

It's actually infuriating how CBS are acting in all of this, that's what's putting me off even more. They did nothing about Jackson breaking have-not rules, they keep just ignoring the fact that he's threatening towards Kat, ignored Jack's racism and general nastiness, not only do they erase it from the highlight shows, they conspicuously move away from that area or cut feeds whenever it's mentioned or happens. That makes them complicit to me, they're allowing all this to happen and just brushing it under the carpet as if we'd never know. But surely they know that BB feeders will not miss a BEAT, they'll immortalise that 3am comment, they'll find that old DUI, they'll dig up the domestic violence past.

Not only do they need to take responsibility for what happens and deal with it, they need to cast better in the first place!! :/

Well idk if it's even an oversight, big coincidence if they go THAT wrong twice casting people who know each other when there's such a pool of people who'd kill to be on the show. But that's one big thing i have to give Christie's game credit for, nobody knows that they have that connection and by all accounts it seems like they' are or were very close on the outside!

Anyway Jessica HOH!!! Looks like this might be worth watching now things are shaking up, as abominable as most of this cast are, with everything a bit more up in the air and someone outside of that group finally HOH we might see something exciting or different happening at last. Jack v Jackson on the block plz *.*

Yeah I really don't know what to make of the rest of this season. Happy Christie is going this week, but I don't really have a strong preference on what happens next. I'm not overtly rooting for anyone, but at this point Jessica is really the only one who hasn't had their game completely blown up one way or another.. Not that I am or want to root for her or anything.

Normally it would be great this late in the game to not really know what's going to happen.. But I really don't care for these people.. Worst season in a while for me.

ph34r.gif ended up having the afternoon off today and played one of those online Big Brother games.
Right off the bat there was one Tyler/Paul esq character running the house and formed an immediate alliance.. which I was a part of.. I ended up being nominated the first 3 weeks but we ended up taking out the competition pretty quick.

I was pretty much on the bottom of the totem pole at Final 6, so went rogue and brokered some big moves to dissolve some of the obvious Final 2/3s that existed. Ended up winning Veto at Final 4 and now at the Final 3.

Same! She escaped eviction twice in a row, is playing hard AND makes good TV but people just see her crying a lot and decide she's terrible. Sis had nothing to offer so I'm glad she can't get carried to the finale now.

Posted by: Liаm 24th August 2019, 09:10 PM

She is kind of a horrible person as well, I certainly don't think she's likeable or anything. Either way I just think she's entertaining as f***, plus she isn't getting the credit she deserves for playing a great game, whatever you think of her the fact she's still here after the last couple of weeks is astounding (granted, Tommy winning veto saved her skin last week, but this week was all her).

Pretty much everyone is awful in some way this season, so at least I can give her credit for being entertaining (like I was HOWLING at her absolutely melting down over Baywatch gate, she is so dramatic) rather than flat out dull like Analyse, creepy like Nick or just a douche like Jackson.

Also not Nicole winning something the ONE time I kinda don't want her to laugh.gif

I can't be mad at her taking a shot at Tommy/Christie because someone had to, it was a joke that twice in a row Holly and Jackson just let them slide through. I do think getting Christie out rather than Tommy is a dumb move for all of them though, Christie without Tommy probably would have been even more of a trainwreck and leaving her in there would have left a huge target that pretty much everyone would have gone after, leaving everyone else ostensibly safe for another week. Tommy without Christie is arguably in an even better place without her weighing him down and is most likely to win at this point, they should have taken the shot while they could, but I suppose part of his great social game is that the others probably don't realise what a great position he's in.

Posted by: Liаm 8th September 2019, 10:44 AM

Omg Jackson HOH, Tommy and Cliff nominated, Nicole won veto - so she's obv gonna take Cliff off and Holly is the only possible renom, I'm hoping that Nicole and Cliff then take her out on Jackson's HOH lmao can you imagine!!

Posted by: Harve 13th September 2019, 01:06 AM

I completely stopped watching halfway through the season, but the last few few days have been kinda tense. As of right now, we still don't know whether Tommy or Holly are going home as Nicole and Cliff were still deciding and campaigning was still going on as the episode started.

Posted by: Harve 13th September 2019, 02:03 AM

I personally think Cliff and Nicole made the wrong/riskier decision, and the only way this works out for them is if one of them wins veto this week, so they're banking entirely on that. Evicting Holly would've given them a chance of getting to final three without it.

NICOLE HOH.

Posted by: Liаm 13th September 2019, 04:41 PM

Is it bad I lowkey hate Cliff more than Jackson?? Jackson is a horrendous person but at least he's playing, to give him some credit that was a blinder in saving Holly (admittedly, Cliff and Nicole were having doubts anyway but still). I can't really root for him to win though because he's a vile, manipulative person and I still can't forgive that he cheated on slop and really should have been chucked out, or at least put in jeopardy with a penalty vote. He made a mockery of the game.

Cliff just seems to be such a fickle snake, he knows he can't win for himself so he keeps telling whoever has power what they want to hear so he can get to final 2 but it's definitely Jackson vs. Nicole for the win now I think, not necessarily those two in the final 2 (if either had any sense, they'd take the other one out) but either of them would surely beat Cliff or Holly. If Cliff did win, I think he'd be the worst winner for me gameplay wise EVER, at least of the seasons I've seen. Jackson would be possibly the worst *person* to win though laugh.gif

Cliff was frustrating me because he was gunning for Tommy to be evicted over Holly (wrong move!), but his achievement this week has been to ensure that if Jackson/Holly were choosing between taking Nicole and Cliff to final 3 and/or 2, it would be him. He came out of the back-and-forth deliberating a lot better than Nicole did.

Definitely think that Cliff is the least likely to win and by far the most likely to go home this week though; he probably loses to everyone. Jackson would most likely beat everyone and not sure who wins if it comes down to a Nicole-Holly final 2.

Posted by: Harve 14th September 2019, 10:52 PM

Cliff genuinely seems to believe that taking Jackson to final 3 is a better move than taking Holly.

Posted by: Harve 15th September 2019, 02:48 AM

Jackson won veto. Bye bye Cliff. This is what you get for keeping Holly over Tommy.

Could you add spoiler tags to your posts please?

Posted by: Liаm 15th September 2019, 11:49 AM

The final 3 HOH is gonna be nervewracking af now, Nicole HAS to win but she has to take Holly to win

Posted by: Riser 19th September 2019, 05:13 AM

Okay I'm over Cliff now too, any hope of him not getting voted AFP? drama.gif These deals with Michie and Holly are nonsense after how many times he moved the goalposts on their final four deal last week.

Posted by: Call Me Cody 19th September 2019, 05:26 AM

I just don’t get how playing a rat game is even viable at this stage? It’s final 4, only one person wins... it just looks like you’re playing someone else’s game at this point

I can't say I was ever really a fan of his.... but yeah. He's being super greedy. It's not a good look. You don't need to play like this at F4.

Posted by: Liаm 20th September 2019, 01:31 AM

I never really trusted Cliff but he's just gone right off the edge this past week or so. It's baffling how he did basically nothing the entire time yet feels like playing this pitiful excuse of a game is the right thing now... He really thinks he did something when all he's done is seal his own fate and probably lose AFP laugh.gif Like I said, he just comes across snakey and fickle because all week he has been telling each of the three remaining what they want to hear, as long as he thinks it makes them want to take him over somebody else.

I would say Nicole for AFP but I'm manifesting that she's winning the whole thing, honestly though she deserves the 500k, the runner-up money AND AFP all put together for the boss ass bitch she is being towards Jackson rn and taking none of his shit *.*

Nicole winning the final HOH and cutting Jackson to storm to the win with all bar his vote would be ICONIC and I am so here for it. It's gonna be such a tense and nailbiting HOH because she HAS to win it obviously, and she has to take Holly to win but I think she definitely knows that. She might have played a quieter game that only ramped up recently towards the end, but Nicole F and Kaycee proved that that works over Paul/Tyler playing way too hard! Jackson's played a dirty, aggressive game and there's certainly props to be had for that but at the end of the day he's still an awful person and I can't forgive that nor the fact he cheated on slop and made a mockery of the game by doing so but was just allowed to be let off of that. Like... Chima got thrown out for about as much.

Posted by: Aaron. 20th September 2019, 01:42 AM

Damn cliff. You ruthless. I do however give him respect... Most people are too afraid to play like this. Get that coin henny.

Posted by: Aaron. 20th September 2019, 01:57 AM

DRAG HIM JULIE

Posted by: Liаm 20th September 2019, 02:10 AM

SCREAMING, she really said "in what world" omg

Posted by: Riser 20th September 2019, 01:04 PM

Oh I never liked Cliff either but was just indifferent to him until now laugh.gif Was his telling Jackson about campaigning against him to the jury just an empty threat? I mean there's reasons Jackson shouldn't win but the Cliff deal isn't one of them.

Posted by: Liаm 22nd September 2019, 10:07 AM

Final HOH parts 1 and 2 have happened

Jackson and Holly won... Well that's Jackson winning the 500k then, Jesus wept

Posted by: Call Me Cody 26th September 2019, 02:29 AM

this season never existed

I can’t believe we were all so excited three months ago

just delete it and cancel the show cbs. no amount of damage control is going to save it

Posted by: Liаm 26th September 2019, 02:37 AM

Ngl I will stan so hard if Holly wins now, I think she could omg

Posted by: Liаm 26th September 2019, 02:56 AM

"Jackson you're racist and here's how you made everyone feel but here's 500k" :/ He has to be hte least happy and most sombre winner I've ever seen though! I really hope realising what he did to the others and how he and his little crew made them feel has hit him in the face and really made him think about who he is.

Nicole AFP THO YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSS wub.gif Now that was a satisfying ending, to see her so overwhelmed and everyone so happy for her too.

Posted by: Riser 26th September 2019, 05:07 AM

I couldn't handle the awkwardness of that, I mean I'm glad they addressed everything that happened but at this point it was barely worth it. A better season than BB19 at least (not saying much, I know), there were a few amazing houseguests but other than that, meh.

I am so happy for Nicole though, the finale did end on a happy note thankfully and winning AFP is going to mean the world to her!

Posted by: Aaron. 26th September 2019, 01:03 PM

I honestly feel a little bad for Jackson.
We can't sit here and say other seasons haven't been better or worse in terms of what it's contestants have done and said, but I found it odd that CBS chose this season out of any to take a stand and air their dirty laundry, especially since Jackson was clearly a production favorite. I don't even think Jackson said anything horrifically offensive that I can recall - but again I've done a shit job at following the feed events this year.

But yeah, it does seem that CBS is ready to forget this season ever happened as well. I think we can all agree on that.

Posted by: Aaron. 26th September 2019, 01:06 PM

Also I really hoping since Tom Green was in the audience that they were going to announce CBB3 but I guess not

Posted by: Call Me Cody 26th September 2019, 04:04 PM

Jackson was production’s favorite but he was clearly not Julie’s. I mean when you have a season that was always in the headlines for controversies week after week it’s kinda hard not to ignore it, especially in the age of social media. Also Tommy’s question about Jackson being degrading to women opened yet another can of worms. Tbh they could have had more time for the pre-jury segment since the subject was not only sensitive but lengthy but a lot of that time was spent by Holly rambling on during jury questions and final speech. Overall I’m not surprised that he walked out of that house looking miserable. He’s had inklings of ideas that he was hated by America after the field trip and everything that transpired just about confirms it.

Let’s take this as a lesson that we need to be kinder to each other. Good luck with the damage control CBS!

Posted by: Liаm 26th September 2019, 04:29 PM

If you want receipts, some of his wonderful moments include:

Saying he wants to "mule kick" David in the teeth, that he's not on Bravo or BET and he's a cancer on the house
Referring to a large portion of eggs as a "Jessica sized portion"
Admitting to a record of domestic violence and Xanax addiction
Making Kat feel unsafe because of his outbursts, due to knowing about his domestic violence record
Hoarding his favourite food to hide for himself, including when he was on slop
Using the n-word towards David, alongside Jack

Having said that, clearly he is not well - addiction issues and suicidal thoughts. BB really really messed up even letting him on the show, he covered up the extent of his issues but they clearly knew as he was in receipt of a lot of a lot of psych help during the series and apparently production had to remove a large ceramic cutting knife for fears that he could do something violent. Clearly they knew the risk but let him on and by all accounts practically let him win. I have absolutely no idea why he was such a production fave, knowing that the nation hated him it was never going to end well handing him the win was it?? I just hope nothing happens and they have serious blood on their hands for not stopping him going on the show... If anything happens then CBS have majorly f***ed up.

It got axed sad.gif Tamar Gheesling-Braxton played such a good game she broke it x

Posted by: Call Me Cody 26th September 2019, 04:37 PM

Let’s not forget “...Jessica wth that tragic body of hers, go to Mexico that’s your sequester house”

he had it in for Jess since Day 1. Like there are a lot of things I can criticize her for (like her lack of awareness in the house) but the things he said about her were cruel and demeaning.

Posted by: Liаm 26th September 2019, 04:46 PM

Exactly! All he kept saying was "it's only ever been game", but how is calling Jess fat anything to do with game? How is racism towards David and Kemi anything to do with game? For things like landing Tommy in it by lying, leading to his eviction, I don't care, that's playing a dirty game and people have been celebrated for less. But for the demeaning and downright nasty things he said about the women and minorities in the house, there is no way you can stretch that into being anything to do with gameplay in any way.

Brilliant News. Hope this includes the upcoming season of BBCAN as well.

Hopefully the new approach of a new casting director will pay off in dividends with a more varied and less racist/sexist/homophobic cast

maybe we’ll actually have a good season!

It is interesting it comes after CBS have stated that casts for their reality shows should be 50% POC.

I am so happy with that news!!
