And...

Our Winner...

Is...

No surprise...

1. Santa Tell Me

08/10 votes (to win) [80.00%]

It's really no surprise that this bona fide Christmas bop classic has taken the Christmas Crown. Reaching a new peak of #11 in the UK charts this year and unfortunately looking decreasingly likely to go top 10 this year... We are all gunning for it to reach top 10 in years to come, which always adds an extra element of excitement to the Christmas charts. It also reached a new peak of #32 in the Billboard Hot 100 and continues to chart around the world each year. The track was written by Ariana with long term collaborators Savan Kotecha and Ilya from the house of Max Martin. To date it's the only Christmas song of Ari's that got a full single release alongside a cute video, though for one I hope there's more planned in the future... one track I have in mind that I hope one day could receive video treatment is our runner-up:

2. Winter Things

02/10 votes (to win) [20.00%]

Our runner-up is the last track standing from Ari's 'Christmas & Chill (EP)'. Written alongside the likes of bestfriends Victoria Monet and Tommie Lee Brown 'Winter Things' closes the Christmas EP rather beautifully. We were lucky enough to have it performed during the Christmas leg of the 'Sweetener World Tour'. The track has firmly held it's place as a favourite original Christmas song from her over the years, usually being the highest on streaming and download charts minus only 'Santa Tell Me', 'Santa Baby' and 'Last Christmas'. MAKE A VIDEO ARIANA! laugh.gif

'Santa Tell Me' an obvious but fantastic winner wub.gif I'm really pleased that 'Winter Things' did as well as 2nd too.

Mostly good results although I would've liked 'Oh Santa!', 'Not Just On Christmas' and 'Santa Baby' a bit higher.

Hope you guys enjoyed! A fun little activity in the lead up to the festive period. Happy Christmas all heart.gif

Of course there's no surprise to see Santa Tell Me come out as the winner biggrin.gif

It's certainly deserving of its win. Hopefully it can crack that top 10 in the charts one year.

Thanks everyone for taking part heart.gif
