So we've got our wish with the Spyro remaster, but what other classics would you like to see remade for the current generation with new graphics, tigtened gameplay etc.?


After Spyro, I'd love the Tony Hawk's series I really got into it with Underground but the Pro Skater games are brilliant too. I'd also KILL for Simpsons Hit & Run, as great as GTA is it's just so fun to go round a familiar world from a TV show like that!

I’m really surprised they haven’t remastered The Simpson’s Hit and Run yet, I can only assume it’s due to licensing.

I loved the Simpsons game back in the day


I’d love to see a remaster of the original GT trilogy. GT3 is still held up to be the best of the lot. It’ll never happen tho because polyphony digital are perfectionists so it won’t appear until 2059 by which point it’ll need remastered for the ps14

Aside from CTR (which I'm sure we'll see one day) I would say the original Destruction Derbies or even possibly Burnout (but Paradise more than sufficed for a modern iteration).

The original Driver would be amazing if remastered as well.

The early Tomb Raider games. I'd love to see the levels and puzzles of TR2-5 with the graphics and controls of Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Anniversary ended up being one of my fave TR games and I prefer it to TR1.

Would be nice to have Angel of Darkness redone too, there was a great game hidden under all the bugs and problems.

I’ve heard paradise on 4 is basically just identical with a barely noticeable increase in graphics. I’d rather see an early burnout, like 2 or 3 maybe.

Some of these gems would be amazing in remastered definition:
- Twisted Metal
- Dark Cloud
- Tomb Raider
- Burnout
- GTA Vice City
- Simpsons Hit N Run
- Kingdom Hearts (PROPER remaster in similar Crash/Spyro graphics)

Oh wow I think this might be the only thing left. Maybe the Test Drive series as well? I was obsessed with those games when I was a kid.

I don't think they'll be doing a full blown remake any time soon since the remasters for PS4 have just been released in the last 1-2 years.

I have never played Kingdom Hearts but the soundtrack for it is always top notch so remake, remaster it all you want as long as they make new songs for it.

YES PLEASE!!!

I loved it at the time and it still holds up well nearly 20 years on. I would still love to see a HD version of course. Driver 2 and Driv3r could definitely do with a makeover though (both games suffer so much from glitches and slowdown).
