I think it’s quite a smart move for her to do it tbh. If Alexandra Burke could get a top 20 album out of it I’m sure Mel could do something similar if not better. I reckon she would be really good on the show too!

Same I can’t wait for both, even if this “covers” album isn’t recieved well it should mean a fairly substantial uk tour so I’ll get to see her regardless!

I don’t think she will to be honest she plans on having an album out this year so I’m thinking it must be all recorded by now or very close to it anyway...

A covers album she should keep away from and release her own material.

According to her twitter, Melanie is DJ-ing in Great Yarmouth in a couple of weeks.
