 THIS IS IT! I've counted up all of the votes and the ranking of the 2014 cast has been determined! There are 99 characters who featured in EastEnders in 2014 to countdown, and I must say there are a couple of shocks to become (both low ranking and high ranking). The countdown will begin tomorrow with the few names and will continue in the lead up to EastEnders' 30th Anniversary week which begins on Tuesday 17th February. Who will be your #1 character? 99. Denny Rickman (0.12)
 Dennis Rickman Jnr AKA The Devil's protege has the accolade of finishing in last position! In the couple of years at EastEnders, he's been widely hated for turning soap princess, Sharon Mitchell, into some sort of blind fool who never accepts that her son is anything other than the second coming. Denny's most notable storyline thus far has been his 'brat' storyline which was randomly dropped and Sharon never found out what a brat her son really was. He even turned Sharon against poor brave Dot, which is a cardinal sin in the land of EastEnders. In 2014, Denny has barely featured. His only major storyline was almost finding Sharon's gun which was hidden in her bedroom draw, resulting in her FINALLY giving Denny a very good telling off and him then running off to have a good cry. 98. Alfie Moon (0.56)
 Walford's resident unlikeable prat finishes in second last position. 2014 has been a VERY turbulent year for Alfie and his family. It began with newly reunited Kat & Alfie beginning to struggle to make ends meat after losing The Queen Vic. All year Alfie has been without and job and literally walking the streets like a hobo or annoying one of Walford's many residents with his unneeded opinions. Alfie stopped to his lowest level yet in September - after the birth of his twins, the family was facing eviction and his last resort was to manufacture a fire for an insurance scam. Unfortunately it went terribly wrong and Kat was caught in the blaze. After ostracising Stacey Branning and hopping from sofa to sofa for a place to live, Alfie was finally forced to come clean with Kat about the fire after she discovered a picture of Nana Moon unscaved from their burnt house. Kat FINALLY leaves Alfie once and for all, and leaves Alfie homeless during the Christmas season while she bunks in with Stacey. 97. Adam White (1.75)
 Also finishing low down is the first of the 'White' family. Adam was brought in as a guest character again in 2014 as he attempted to discover the whereabouts of his brother, Carl. Adam kidnapped Lexi Pearce and then confronted Ronnie Mitchell in the park, resulting in her revealing that she killed his brother. Ronnie later set Aleks and a bunch of guys from her boxing gym on Adam and he was hospitalised. Ronnie warned his mother, Nora, to stay away or she'll kill Adam too. 'Lovers' 05 | April, gooddelta 'Haters' 00 | JosephJamil, Wall-e, Calum Hood, T Boy, harryflynn, Doug 96. Carl White (2.19) As if by magic, Carl finishes just one place higher than his brother. During his time on the square, he made a number of enemies, but he always had his card marked once he started to mess with Ronnie Mitchell. 2014 started with his death, after Ronnie Mitchell accidentally killed him in self defence when he attempted to rape her. She later placed his body into a car and had his body crushed. And slowly, everyone started to forget one of EE's most awful villains in its history. How he lasted so long, I don't know. 95. Bella Young (2.40)
 The second 'child' character to appear - Bella Young is the daughter of Sadie and Jake Stone. Her most notable storyline (and perhaps only storyline) was that she discovered the affair between Lauren and Jake. The moment was a sudden realisation for Lauren, that she had turned into Stacey in the 'Stax' affair. Hence, she tried her best to keep the secret under wraps after they stopped the affair in order to protect Bella's family, since her own family was destroyed after the affair. Bella left Albert Square with Sadie following Sadie's discovery of the affair, leaving behind a devastated and homeless Jake. 94. Nora White (2.44)
 Next to appear on the countdown is the final member of the 'White' family. Nora was initially brought in for one episode (as seen in the clip below), where Kirsty and Carl continued to masquerade as a couple. Nora returned in March 2014, demanding to know the whereabouts of her son after he had gone missing for an extended period of time. After much pleading, Ronnie Mitchell revealed that Carl was dead. 93. Dexter Hartman (2.97)  Walford's recently departed useless plank rightfully finishes low here on our character countdown. Dexter was brought into EE alongside his mother as Cora's long lost family. However, once the initial storyline was over, Dexter didn't really have much else to do. So they brought in his estranged father, Sam James, and this sparked a storyline Dexter discovered Sam's real motive for returning was for a transplant and wished to have Dexter's help. Dexter & Ava sent Sam packing, and before long Ava also left the show. 2014 saw Dexter interacting with new comer, Nancy Carter, and attempting to 'woo' her. He also discovered that Nancy suffered from epilepsy and gained props by dealing with her epileptic fit well. Khali Best took a long break from the show due to his 'naughty' goings-on in real life, and when he returned he attempted to rekindle his romance with Nancy. 92. Marta Shirovs (3.03)
 Marta was brought in as a guest character following the discovery that Aleks had a wife and daughter back home in Latvia. Marta first came to the square in search of Aleks, who had not been home for 4 years. She began to follow Aleks and eventually discovered he was dating Roxy Mitchell after seeing them chatting and kissing in The Queen Vic. Marta spectacularly confronts Roxy in her home, with daughter Ineta acting as translator. Before long, Marta decides to leave Aleks and tells Ineta to stay with him in the UK. 91. Morgan Jackson (3.15)
 Notorious chicken nugget eater, Morgan Jackson, just misses out on a top 90 position. I don't think there's really anything else to say, because he's just a background character without any storylines of his own. Morgan departed the square with his mother, Bianca Jackson, and the rest of the family to live in Milton Keynes.
