Hello and welcome to Unovia for the second edition of the Re-Invention spin-off! Delta Goodrem was victorious for us last time with her stunning cover of I Believe In A Thing Called Love, so we are excited to be hosting the next batch of covers, remixes and samples vying to have the crown handed to them. Those of you who did the last one will roughly know how it works, but for those who don't...

You can enter a song as long as it adheres to the following rules:

1) If the song is a sample, it cannot be a sample of an artist with a Buzzjack Artist Forum.
2) If the song is a cover, it must be significantly different (ie in production choice or vocals) to the original. The above winner from last addition is an example - a glam rock song turned into an emotional piano ballad.
3) If the song is a remix, it must be completely different to the original track, a re-invention to make it totally different rather than just a slight turning up of the bop-a-meter.
4) Regardless of whether the track is a sample, cover or remix, it cannot have made top 40 on its own merit (for example, Lucid Dreams by Juice WRLD is currently #17 in the charts so would not be eligible, even though it samples Sting), however the song it re-works can have been a hit (again, the Delta Goodrem track is a known 00s hit).
5) As long as the actual re-work you are sending hasn't charted, songs will be judged on a case-by-case basis according to the above.
6) You must justify why you are sending the song in the form, explain what makes it different from its source and why it is a re-invention, to help with veto-ing etc and make sure everything is in the spirit of the contest.

I hope that is clear enough, don't be scared off of sending a known artist as ofc spin-off rules are more relaxed, if you are unsure about something then try it and we can see if it's ok, as long as you don't take the mick and stretch the theme or the boundaries too far
