It may be a seventh week at #1 for DaBaby's ROCKSTAR, with Jawsh 685/Jason Derulo, Gaga/Ariana and Topic giving chase. BLACKPINK could score a new entry with How You Like That, with other releases including Bring Me The Horizon with Parasite Eve, Becky Hill & Sigala with Heaven On My Mind, Dermot Kennedy's Giants and Charlie Puth's Girlfriend
Open race in the album chart with Bob Dylan defending the #1 against various contenders, including new arrivals from HAIM with their third record Women In Music Pt III and Jessie Ware’s fourth album What’s Your Pleasure?. New releases include Khruangbin’s Mordecai, Nadine Shah’s Kitchen Sink, Depeche Mode’s Live Spirits Soundtrack, Grey Daze’s Amends and Raleigh Ritchie’s Andy

Hoping that HAIM can get a second #1 album this week and Jessie Ware can get her highest charting album to date. x
I’ll give HAIM’s album a listen this weekend but atm I want Jessie to get the #1 *.*
Mystery Jets tweeted today saying they were #7 following the physical release of 'A Billion Heartbeats' - no idea how many copies that might equate to
Bob Dylan is back on iTunes #1 so probably he will hold the spot. Hope Jessie will be #2
Is Jessie in with a real shot of getting her highest charting album to date?
Really hope so! What a phenomenal set.
I just hope Gaga can remain top 5 in both the album and singles chart! Also hoping Harry can re-peak with Watermelon Sugar.
Would be huge if HAIM managed to go #1, with low numbers but regardless.
Huge? I think it's the other way around, if they miss, it will be a huge disappointment
Huge in sense that it would be their second #1 and that without any hits since 2017.
just checked and the last Haim album opened with 18k sales in July'17
even with half of that they could be #1
HAIM should easily be able to take the number one album I'd have thought, and Jessie, while not quite being in contention for number one, should definitely be in with a chance to get her highest peak (she needs to beat #5).
I wonder if CeeLo Green has any chance of going Top 40 with his album? His last one only managed #43 but I gave the album a listen yesterday and it's pretty good.
I'd be very surprised if it makes the top 100
Hopefully it will but since once big(ish) names like Labrinth and Example have missed the Top 100 with their new albums recently, I guess it won't be a huge shock if it doesn't
If John Legend reached only #63, Cee-Lo shouldn't chart at all...
For what it's worth, CeeLo doesn't have physicals out until August. Was only #66 on iTunes on Friday, and has now dropped out the top 1500 entirely.
Hope Raleigh Ritchie gets a top 40 with his album...
Hopeful for a Haim/Jessie Ware top 2, both albums are really great
When was the last time UK had a female top 2? This week might actually be all female top 3 if Gaga is the biggest "old" album there.
P!nk's 3rd week at #1 with 'Hurts 2B Human' had Billie Eilish at #2, so a little over a year ago.
The reissue of "The Sun Is Often Out" by Britpop band Longpigs is apparently https://twitter.com/DavyMatchett/status/1277212638121005056 so far.
^^
Well I'm one of the people who've bought it - was a regular listen for me back in my sixth form days!
Just checked the 1st week sales x Haim...
37K for their debut in 2013 in a famous chart battle were they pipped Justin Timberlake and 18K for their sophomore in 2017
and these are the 1st week sales x Jessie Ware,
very regular but much lower than Haim...
her 1st opened with 9K in 2012
her 2nd album opened with 10K in 2014
the last Jessie Ware opened with 8K in 2017
With 100 million worldwide views on you tube of their new single what are the predictions for the new Blackpink single?
Kings & Queens has risen on Apple Music and Youtube, any chance of a new peak?
Demon have naughtily posted the top 24 albums with sales on Twitter
https://twitter.com/DemonMusicGroup/status/1276947322337996800
The Lathums at #3 with a vinyl-only compilation before their debut album, wow!
so as expected comfortable #1 for Haim yay <3
some of those artists in the top 10 in Albums I've never ever heard, Kruangbin? Fat White Family? Nadine Shah?
Jessie actually #2? That is amazing!
I think Khruangbin might be up your alley, you should check them out. I'm glad they're finally starting to get big
Oooops people beat me to it!
Half of those new albums will be long gone by the end of the week, HAIM and Jessie should be an easy Top 2, with Lewis, Lady Gaga and Harry should make up the top 5 surely.
maybe it's the Sat mids? Sat mids x albums is physical only without streams
Definitely no streams there.
Great result for Haim anyway, and Jessie probably needs only another 2.5k to secure #2.
Haim managing over 9k already get that #1 girls!
Lmao at that leaked list but looking good for Chromatica!
Almost time for First Look!
20 Ariana Grande & Justin Bieber - Stuck With U
19 Sam Fischer - This City
18 Ava Max - Kings & Queens
17 StaySolidRocky - Party Girl
Party Girl still top 20.
Ava! If that can outpeak 'So Am I' that'll be such a spectacular result for her.
16 Dua Lipa - Break My Heart
15 Tion Wayne feat. Dutchavelli & Stormzy - I Dunno
14 Nathan Dawe feat. Jaykae - Flowers
13 BLACKPINK - How You Like That
I'm not a K-Pop fan but this BLACKPINK song is really good.
Love this glad it's this high
Brilliant showing for BLACKPINK!!
12 The Weeknd - Blinding Lights
did they say there's still 1 newie coming? or did I misunderstand?
cannot see what song could be
11 Megan Thee Stallion - Savage
Jubel? (Assuming there's little streaming data here)
10 220 KID & GRACEY - Don't Need Love
Yes, I hope the new one is Dancing In The Moonlight.
forgot about Jubel
really hated Toploader- Dancing in the moonlight back ini the day
9 The Rolling Stones - Living In A Ghost Town
Rolling Stones really?
Oh my never saw this coming!
Rolling Stones this track flew over my head
Huh how?!?!
what?
Have they bought lots of CDs or cassettes?
what where did this come from
This has to be a mistake surely?
How did this make it
how?
Seems this had its physical formats released this week, expect a plummet as the week goes on!
is it out as physical single? it's the only explanation possible that I can think of
I'm literally loving this very bluesy sound
8 AJ Tracey feat. MoStack - Dinner Guest
It's actually pretty good, hope it makes the top 40 come Friday.
I actually really liked the Rollings song
I see amazon has it as CD single and also as vinyl single
7 Regard & RAYE - Secrets
In that case I make Jubil nowhere near the top 20
6 Harry Styles - Watermelon Sugar
Damn Simba is still top 5.
Thought this would've jumped Rover tbh. I think it will by the end of the week tho
People acting like if that Rolling Stones was a new one. I think I've heard it for the first time some 2 or 3 months ago.
Rolling Stones has a cd single and 7" vinyl out from their own website.
I got my cd single in the post yesterday
5 S1mba feat. DTG - Rover
Hopefully Harry can push Simba down a place.
4 Topic & A7S - Breaking Me
Topic not yet overtook Miss Gaga but Derulo surely did it.
Mu La La
3 Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande - Rain On Me
Rain On Me down 1 place. Where's Adelita?
feels weird rain on me not being at #2
2 DaBaby feat. Roddy Ricch - ROCKSTAR
1 Jawsh 685 & Jason Derulo - Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat)
jason derulo king omg
Is Derulo much ahead of Dababy on Amazon? It is the only main plattform I don't have access.
kings
This could be an interesting battle! The early missing streaming data should be mostly in DaBaby's favour, but even there the gap seems to be narrowing.
if Savage Love is number one this week, it would have the exact same first three top 40 weeks as Despacito
This year's summer anthem
Derulo already #1.
To be honest I never expected Jason Derulo getting another #1 since his last chart appearance, ho hey... has another one now.
'Savage Love' feels like it could be the biggest song of the year.
BMTH are at #21, shame they just missed out today!
Savage Love would have to go some way to overtake Blinding Lights for this year, at least in chart sales - but that was released last year, so...
on paper DaBaby should be #1 this week, his lead on Spotify was 120K yesterday and 100K today, which is a lot
unless Derulo eats it up later in the week
DaBaby also released the video for there song last Friday (finally), which should help him too
Hopefully ROCKSTAR can snatch a final week at #1. Then Savage Love can take it from there, I guess
Black artists taking #over the charts 2020, yaaaaaaas
I’m ready for a new #1 now so I’m hoping Savage Love gets it.
I hope Derulo keeps the top spot by Friday and I wasn’t expecting Rolling Stones to be heading for top 10. I reckon they’ll settle for top 30 due to lack of streaming
I think those sales are basically it for Rolling Stones so they don't stay in top 40.
I hope jason derulo stays number 1 and Harry styles and ava max hold their existing or higher positions.
Jessie Ware has released one of the best albums of the past few years, its a pop electro disco masterpiece , it sounds like a cross between Kylie & Goldfrapp... some of my favorite tracks on the album are:
I don't think Savage Love has enough time to be the biggest song this year, that spot is reserved to Blinding Lights.
I did not want to quote the whole post again but Dark Horse:
Can you please refrain from spamming with Jessie Ware videos on a chart predictions thread. Please.
I thought the gay p*rn one was official but then noticed the number of views x
yes I've removed some of the video's as they aren't really appropriate for Buzzjack!
Buzzjack homophobic, now I've heard it all x

Do The Rolling Stones have physicals out or have I completely missed something?
BMTH's Medicine was at #31 on the Monday before just missing out at #42 - so hopefully Parasite Eve can stay in!
Rolling Stones track is falling like a brick I knew that was forthcoming though
Isn’t it vinyls that are selling for The Rolling Stones? I could’ve sworn the CD came out weeks ago
Steps should release physicals for their next single on release week and get that top 10
The update shows both Roses and Dance Monkey at #23, I assume Dance Monkey is #24
Toosie Slide #37
Good to see Khruangbin so high, hopefully can remain top 10, loving the singles from it - they sound great in the sun
What's the gap between Rover and Watermelon Sugar like? is there any chance of WS going top 5? Happy to see Haim comfortably at #1, their new album is fantastic.
Oh great. DaBaby is gonna block Jason from #1
yay for Haim, but looks like Dylan is gonna deny Jessie Ware the #2 spot, he's still selling very well this week
poor Rollings, but it as fun to see them in the top 10 in the first look chart
Awww, I had my heart set on Jessie getting #2 (although #3 is still her highest yet, so still great!)
I was thinking a #2 debut seemed a bit ambitious for Jessie Ware - but I thought it'd be Gaga preventing it, not Dylan! Dylan's sales are holding up amazingly well really (he held up much better during that first week than I expected as well). Glad that it should indeed be a comfortable #1 for HAIM anyway and should be coming for similar or better first week sales than their last album!
I've also been quite enjoying the singles from the Khruangbin album, particularly 'Pelota' (although my favourite song from them so far, 'Texas Sun' w/ Leon Bridges, isn't on this album), nice to see them doing so well too.
Hoping that DaBaby can claw back the #1 for another week to delay the inevitable but definitely looks like Jawsh 685 will be there next week if not this.
I see Covid is at it's most lethal right now Honestly, that's the only acceptable reason as to why HAIM are #1 in the albums.
---
Serious though, I assume not, but if you have access to the Top 100, did Raleigh Ritchie make it with 'Andy'? (I don't think he will be as he is only streaming and downloads atm)
Hoping Becky Hill can keep that #39 position ...
Really thought Watermelon Sugar would be #5, it's ahead of Rover on Spotify and Apple Music, tied on Amazon,
and Watermelon Sugar has a huge advantage on iTunes...
only place Rover is doing better is Youtube but that doesn't count that much...
really don't Gert why people don't watch Harry's videos??
I can’t wait till later so can I ask have Little Mix fallen out of the top 35 now?
Thanks
What's a Kruangbin?
I expected UK to support more its local acts.... I never knew HAIM are still a thing with no single hit. Shame Jessie is missing #2 now too.
Just noticed that Lathums sold no copies yesterday - first time I've seen that on the mids!
Chromatica
Stupid Love
Sour Candy
Shallow
??
Number 6 is still a great peak for watermelon sugar but id love if it could get top 5.
Rockstar will be #1 this week but Savage Love should take over the week after.
Do we have info on Chromatica? The OCC site hasn't updated yet.
Coincidence fans: the Longpigs album peaked at 26 on original release.
OCC has updated, great to see Chromatica doing well again, might be #4 on Friday but top 5 regardless I believe.
Ava falling below Stuck With U and This City Really hope it can hold on to top 20 this week
As expected the Rolling Stones dropped like a brick in the space of a day. I doubt it'll stay in the top 40 come Friday, although hopefully it just about hangs in there. Quite surprised that Bob Dylan has held up surprisingly solidly in its second week, I though it would have dropped much further.
Rolling Stones would have to sell about 4-5k throughout the rest of the week to stay top 40 which I think is very unlikely. they should at least re-enter the top 75.
I hope dermot Kennedy's giants can stay top 75.
hopefully Ella H can climb for a third week 🤞🏻
I really hope the stars can align in some way to get Take Care Of You even just a low top 40 placing. She really deserves it
This "UK does not support local stars" could be taken seriously if Ed Sheeran, Becky Hill and Jess Glynne didn't spent years and decades on album chart not to mention Oasis and Queen.
or Adele

Bob Dylan holding up really well! Looks like he'll remain at #1 this week.
So Derulo could be number one as early as this week then? Hoping Jessie can hang on to the top 3!
The Lathums are slowly falling away only 232 copies sold yesterday
Little Mix 31?
Ava in the top 20 we LOVE to see it
wow at Dylan, he did more than double than Haim (2.2 vs 0.9) yesterday, hope Haim's label are smart and do some price drop on Itunes
oh and not sure how but Derulo is gaining on DaBaby
Bob Dylan putting in a late fight to hold number 1 I hope ava max and becky hill are well ahead of the contenders right behind them.
Weird that even with the video of ROCKSTAR and being ahead on AM and Spotify still &Derulo gets the number 1. Impressive. Anyway he would have been number 1 next week and on and on and on...
So not here for Ava in the top 20 it’s so old or feels it.
Hope Becky scrapes through but looking like it’ll drop from the top 40 now.
HAIM are now back to #1 on itunes
I wasn’t expecting Jason to increase his lead from DaBaby
Is Gaga #7 in the albums today?
Happy with that if so she is on her fifth week and there’s a few new entries ahead of her
Oh great, it looks like Becky Sigala will miss the top 40
Chromatica #6 tomorrow, great
Must finish in the Top 4 on Friday.
I have nothing against Bob Dylan but he better not be snatching this #1 from HAIM xx
Jessie Ware looks secure to stay Top 3.
HAIM are fighting back hard - they have added signed poster bundles to their website although the signed Amazon CD is now out of stock for 1-2 months.

Looks like Jawsh 685 is definitely #1 this week then. Just a question of how long it stays there, it could be quite a while.
Great to see Bring Me The Horizon still holding firmly in the top 30!
HAIM sold just over 100 more yesterday than they did on Monday whilst Bob Dylan is down just over 300, so HAIM are back on track for #1.
The Rolling Stones could squeak into the top 40 based on those midweeks, although it will very much be touch and go.
Great to see Becky holding on in!
Nice to see Becky Sigala climb a spot since yesterday. Hope they can scrape into the top 40
Where's Toosie Slide today please?
Is there any chance Harry's album will be outside top 10? I almost wish that streak would end so I can stop stressing over it every week.
Jason Derulo coming to replace himself next week with Coño
So glad Ava is stable
really hope Becky/Sigala can stay in
really cannot see how Derulo is gaining, guess other versions charting below <200 on Spotify
but there are no other versions charting in the top 1500 on Apple Music...
Chromatica #6? How many copies did it sell yesterday?
Gaga should overtake Khruangbin at least. Lewis is getting those streams by default and Harry has a climbing hit so they are tough competition but she has the chance to beat them as well.
Difficult to say how many weeks Derulo will remain at #1. Never in a million years would have expected Rockstar to make 6 for starters. Just depends on when the next TikTok-influenced song a big artist jumps on comes out of the blue...
Derulo is repeating strategy and taking another super popular Tiktok song and recycling it as his next single
May be he'll replace himself at #1
Their streaming units add up to:
30079 DaBaby
28392 Derulo
DaBaby's way ahead on free streams but the gap on premium streams is much smaller, and those count for more, so the gap's quite easily closed by downloads (even with video streams taken into account too)
Where are LM please? Still 31?
Bob Dylan continuing to close the gap, could be a close finish.
There’s also 2 versions of Savage Love selling well on iTunes
as if that Bring Me The Horizon song is gonna make the top 40 i'll have to tune in just to hear that
Jason Derulow!!!
Any chance Harry can crack the top 5 with watermelon sugar by Friday??
Not arguing that, just saying the title wasn't his idea x
Savage Love coming for #1 this week already? WE LOVE TO SEE IT.
Did people really expect anything more high brow from the man whose hits include Swalla and Wiggle?

1.8k for HAIM yesterday - the download reduction helping a lot! The #1 is theirs.
Lathums still clinging onto Top 10 - another 62 copies were registered yesterday. I'm sure they'll be pushed out by streaming but not bad for a sold out album.
Yasss queen ava
Imagine if Perfect climbs again tomorrow and they play it again on the chart show lol
Who just outside top 40 any big climbs or new entry could try get in tomorrow
Chromatica still at #7?
Dermot Kennedy Grants still in top 100
BMTH holding up surprisingly well through the week!
Hope Blackpink can hold on to the top 20 tomorrow but they’re falling pretty fast on sales and YT
Do we still think Jessie is set for a top 3 position tomorrow? I'm getting a bit worried as Lewis seems to be getting closer to her.
HAIM look safe to get the number 1 now, really happy the killers are as high as 31 with direct hits, i hope it manage to sneak into the top 30 now.
Where is Chromatica and Future Nostalgia?
I take it the Rolling Stones has fallen out?
Great to see Becky Hill climb
Is LM still 31?
i expected Jessie to sell at least 12-13k especially with the commercial pop electro masterpiece that is the Whats your pleasure album...
I am so willing Khruangbin to stay in the top 5 purely so Scott has to attempt to pronounce their name. *.* (I think I read a while ago that it's pronounced 'krung-bin' but I may be making that up)
Yay for Jessie seemingly being safe for top 3, now that I have actually heard both albums I am now wishing it was her rather than HAIM going for the #1 (though I did like HAIM's album too x).
Do we have any idea as to how likely it is that BLACKPINK will remain Top 20 and BMTH Top 30 come tomorrow?
Hope Becky can overtake Ed tomorrow
I hope becky hill def stays top 40 but it looks likely now and same with Ava max in the top 20. Ava Max has had an impressive chart run so far.
HAIM with another #1, so happy for them the album is amazing
