You have now nominated and we are now down to 228 songs left in the competition. In total 434 songs were nominated, but only 228 of them got more than one nomination.

These will be split into 4 equal groups, with 57 songs in each group. The semi-finals have been drawn at random thanks to random.org, however to ensure that one semi-final isn't overloaded with more loved songs than the other, they have been stratified (i.e. there is approximately an equal amount of songs with 2 nominations in each semi, etc.)

In each semi-final the top 20 songs will make it through to the final - leaving us with 80 songs in the final. That means approximately two thirds of the remaining songs will not make the final voting stage and their final position will be decided from how many points they got in the semi finals.
