I fixed the links now - the YouTube links were in there but they were in [post] tags rather than [url] ones so that explains why they weren't working xx

Hopefully everything should be correct now (I noticed the link for Pestolia's song was wrong as well somehow but I think the rest were fine)

omg we must have figured it oot and fixed it around the same time!

Right everything fixed again now and double checked that the links are all correct now (I also cleaned up the artist/song tags while I was at it as I didn't do that in the spreadsheet like I usually do x)

The most terrifying thing about this contest is how cheap my entry is cheeseblock.png but I'm not sure how many other BJSC participants would have listened to this recent Suede album so thought it was a good opportunity to share my favourite album track from it which has a vague spooky theme x (also I never got around to looking for something more inspired/less tenuous kink.gif)

Not many songs that I've already heard here, a pretty inspired list for the most part really! (A couple of exceptions, my own included x). Looking forward to hearing a few of these based on enjoying the other stuff I've heard from the artists involved, particularly AGLORY, ††† and Faun!

Forest Swords - Panic was sent by myself to Unknown Pleasures a few years ago! I mean it probably doesn't matter, it'll be a discovery to most here and it's very spooky indeed so hype I guess x

Also I did notice this but yeah there's no rule against recycling stuff from the non BJSC contests - and that was a 20 pointer for me in UP so I'm down for more people hearing it / being reminded of it again here.

(I forgot it finished as high as 2nd there, interested to see if it'll do as well again here then x)

The Fairly Odd Parents cheeseblock.png Beaver wins x

Oh wow…I just can’t keep up any longer with my memory lol.

Out of curiosity, I went to find out which UP edition was sent and found out I was part of it and gave only three points lmao.

I remember coming across (or re-discovered) just last year again as YT recommended and I was like wow’ed and literally saved it for this theme contest!!!

Thank you for introducing it to me some 5 years ago smile.gif

+++ (crosses) have been someone I've had my eye on for a long time now. 'Bitches Brew' is as haunting as you can get especially with the accompanying video (it's also one I've known for about 3 years now too). The scream at the end you can take or leave though lol.

I'm excited to hear the rest of these. The last edition was very tough iirc.

Voted! Some good stuff in here, I would have liked to have voted for 13 songs. A spooky/unsettling collection indeed and quite a good diverse selection of genres too.

One song felt to me like it didn't fit the theme at all so I'll be interested to see the comments on the listenthrough, and to see how well that does.

Ngl I didn't bother checking for any songs that didn't fit the theme so people could really have got away with anything, I didn't see anything that seemed obviously unsuitable from the titles. (I don't discount the possibility you might be referring to my song which is admittedly only very vaguely on theme ph34r.gif)

I think it’s my song, which I picked solely on the basis of Bones = Skeletons = Halloween.
