Thread to discuss Ariana's Radio 1 Live Lounge special which is due to air at 12:00 BST today! Ariana will perform 5 songs including a cover of a current or retro chart hit.
You can listen here from anywhere in the world. There may be a live video stream as well (I will update this thread with a link if it's announced on air). Discuss and predict which tracks she will perform! |

I would LOVE her set to include all of "Break Free", "One Last Time" and "Into You" but I'm expecting both "No Tears Left to Cry" and "God Is a Woman" as they're from her current album so who knows!

So she came on 25 minutes late and there was no live video. I expect a couple of the performances will be up on YouTube later though. Listen here from 2:22:40.
Setlist: 1. "No Tears Left to Cry" 2. "R.E.M." 3. "God Is a Woman" 4. "Them Changes" (Thundercat cover) She sounded incredible on "No Tears", I love the live arrangement and her ad libs during the final chorus are everything  I'm really not a fan of "R.E.M.", especially after hearing Beyoncé's superior demo version but you can't deny her vocals on it. I'd never heard the Thundercat song before so have nothing to compare it to but the band were too loud compared to her vocals which is a shame. It's nice that she didn't pick something straight off the Radio 1 playlist though like most artists do.It ended very abruptly - I was expecting a fifth song. I guess they're saving it for an online exclusive or something? I'm disappointed that she only performed 'Sweetener' songs though, hopefully there's a better selection for her BBC One special. |

‘No Tears’ was incredible. Her vocals are insane.
Agreed about the rest of it, there were obviously some technical difficulties so I wonder if that’s why it was cut short? |
