This is an announcement from Wysteria’s Assistant Mayor, Isabelle:

I’m going to introduce you to my lovely town clerks, Pelly and Phyllis, who you can see are pelicans. Pelly is the white one and Phyllis the pink. They are… mostly lovely! Sometimes Phyllis has a bad day. Hopefully you won’t see that but I can’t promise anything. Anyway, the two pelicans are going to talk to you about the confirmations process!

Pelly: Hello my lovelies! We kindly ask that you ensure you are familiar with the general BJSC rules

Phyllis: Before you can enter, you must register a country if you are new. Your account must be more than three months old and you will require a Google account. You already know this by now and if you don’t, ask someone else. Maybe Jamesy - you know him as Yobnedor. Maybe just don’t bother!!

Pelly: Please check that your entry has not been sent before, and ideally not to another song contest in the wider Buzzverse either, you can find the list of past BJSC entries in the usual place.

Phyllis: Obviously, all entries are subject to approval by the moderators who have a right to veto your entry if they feel it is too well known and not in the spirit of the contest. Try try to be inspired and send something others may not know. You are advised to check the Veto framework to ensure your song is acceptable. Don’t even think of sending Angela Bassett. She did NOT do the thing despite what Ultraviolenceland might tell you.

(How much more do I need to say? THIS IS EXHAUSTING.)

Apparently I need to tell you that you cannot confirm a song by last month's top 3 artists! (Blusher, Billx & Otyken, SIIGHTS). Also your artist must not have an artist forum on Buzzjack so you Spice Girls weirdos who are still stuck in the 90’s - don’t even think about it.

Pelly: Lookylion automatically qualifies this contest - you lucky thing! - and FSR Rontvia will too if there are an equal number of participants.

Phyllis: The train home is already waiting for these lot who couldn’t even get their act together to vote in the last contest: Beaverdonia, Land of Jack, Oslol, Pagasa and Yehesi. Don’t let the door hit you where the [redacted]. Choo choo!

Pelly: Phyllis please! Sorry about her my dears! Please keep things anonymous until the semi thread goes up! You have until 23.59pm Friday 21st to get your confirmations in and you can do so no longer!
