14. K-391 feat. Alan Walker, Julie Bergan & Seungri - Ignite

This is a fantastic collaboration between three great Norwegian artists (and also a feature from Seungri, who was in a K-pop group at the time), a really good dance track.

13. Marshmello & Bastille - Happier

The unlikely team-up between American DJ Marshmello and British band Bastille was a big success, reaching number two in the UK and also spending two weeks at the top of my personal chart in October.

12. Thom Yorke - Suspirium

Radiohead's Thom Yorke put this beautiful track out in the autumn for the film Suspiria, both the vocals and the piano work on here are great!

11. Drake - Emotionless

It wasn't released as a single, yet it still made the top five in the UK chart on the week that Drake's album Scorpion was released, before completely disappearing the following week to allow In My Feelings to enter under the OCC's rule of three songs per artist. Still, it really caught my attention with the Mariah sample and good lyrics.

10. Martin Garrix & Pierce Fulton feat. Mike Shinoda - Waiting For Tomorrow

The top ten begins with a track that was only released in October! Having loved both Martin Garrix and Mike Shinoda (from Linkin Park) for years, I was looking forward to this being the final track released from Garrix's BYLAW EP, and it did not disappoint, becoming a #1 in my personal chart for three weeks, and spending the rest of the year in the top five.

9. Post Malone - I Fall Apart

Back from the start of the year (and even the end of 2017!), this very emotional track became a moderate-sized hit for Post Malone from his album Stoney, and by far my favourite song on it.

8. Arctic Monkeys - Four Out Of Five

The highly anticipated return of Arctic Monkeys with their Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino album was met with a bit of disappointment from some, but one thing most can agree on is that this single was definitely the highlight from it!

Not even FOOF did it for me, everything I heard from their latest album was just boring. Says it all that it's long gone from the Top 100 whilst AM and their debut continue to chart.

IFA has to be my fave of your top 10 so far, a good effort from Post Malone. That Martin Garrix song is decent too but not one of my faves of his.

I didn't find the album anywhere near as good as those though, Four Out of Five was the only track I regularly went back to! Glad to hear you like I Fall Apart, I'd still say it's my favourite Post Malone song to date!

7. Drake - God's Plan

This massive hit from the start of the year spent nine weeks at number one in the UK. It would also have been number one in my personal chart, and it's the highest of Drake's three entries in the EOY chart.

6. Bring Me The Horizon - Mantra

Bring Me The Horizon's first new material for three years did not disappoint. It spent four weeks at number one in my personal chart in September to early October, and it's still my favourite song on the album.

5. Dynoro & Gigi D'Agostino - In My Mind

This surprise dance hit over the autumn, which was also Germany's best selling single of the year, has finished in my top five of the year despite never going to number one in my personal chart! Ultimately the Lithuanian and Italian DJs finish higher with this in the EOY than the song that kept it off the top spot - that was Mantra, just one position below it!
