V1 :
YTD Sales : Please read these guidelines before you request sales estimates, it makes my task a lot easier (apologies to regulars for the repetition). 1. Remember to check the thread before requesting estimates - they may already have been answered. Also, no more than half-a-dozen requests at a time, thanks. 2. Please be specific - name the artist and title for each entry you'd like an estimate for. 3. If a song/album isn't in the current Top 100, I won't be able to give a up-to-date estimate until C+ arrives (usually on Tuesday). 4. I only track singles/albums that have charted in the current year, and are/or in the top 200 sellers of the year (based on my estimates). 5. Please note my figures are combined sales & streams, and since I have no way of separating them, I cannot provide a split. 6. I keep a log of old sales totals from MW and elsewhere. Please PM me if you want to see it, or to report any errors you spot. Thank you. ********************************** Singles Pos YTD Artist Song 1 1,760,000 Mark Ronson ft Bruno Mars Uptown Funk 2 1,518,000 Omi Cheerleader 3 1,249,000 Hozier Take Me To Church 4 1,186,000 Ellie Goulding Love Me Like You Do 5 1,165,000 Wiz Khalifa See You Again 6 1,120,000 Adele Hello 7 1,116,000 Major Lazer Lean On 8 1,003,000 James Bay Hold Back The River 9 988,000 Justin Bieber What Do You Mean 10 929,000 Justin Bieber Sorry 11 926,000 Years & Years King 12 914,000 Ed Sheeran Thinking Out Loud 13 890,000 Maroon 5 Sugar 14 874,000 Jess Glynne Hold My Hand 15 871,000 Skrillex & Diplo/Justin Bieber Where Are U Now 16 847,000 Jason Derulo Want To Want Me 17 839,000 Lost Frequencies Are You With Me 18 816,000 Rihanna, Kanye & Paul McCartney FourFiveSeconds 19 815,000 Walk The Moon Shut Up & Dance 20 794,000 Calvin Harris & Disciples How Deep Is Your Love Albums Pos YTD Artist Title 1 2,495,899 Adele 25 2 966,000 Ed Sheeran X 3 894,000 Sam Smith In The Lonely Hour 4 880,000 Elvis Presley If I Can Dream 5 645,000 Justin Bieber Purpose 6 584,000 Taylor Swift 1989 7 582,000 Jess Glynne I Cry When I Laugh 8 518,000 James Bay Chaos & The Calm 9 507,000 Coldplay A head Full Of Dreams 10 455,000 George Ezra Wanted On Voyage 11 389,000 Little Mix Get Weird 12 363,000 Hozier Hozier 13 334,000 Olly Murs Never Been Better 14 333,000 One Direction Made In The AM 15 308,000 Rod Stewart Another Country 16 306,000 Mumford & Sons Wilder Mind 17 299,000 Meghan Trainor Title 18 292,000 Jeff Lynne's ELO Alone In The Universe 19 281,000 Florence & The Machine How Big How Blue How Beautiful 20 258,000 Years & Years Communion This post has been edited by vidcapper: 2nd January 2016, 10:33 AM |

A few from last week posted just before the thread was filed...
Demi Lovato: Confident (album & single) & cool for the summer please 17k to 10/12, 53k to 24/12, 221k Happy New Year Paul! Could you tell me these total sales please? Felix Jaehn Feat. Jasmine Thompson - Ain't Nobody (Loves Me Better) Pia Mia - Touch Martin Solveig Feat. Sam White - +1 George Michael - Symphonica (album) Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - The Heist (album) Laura Mvula - Sing To The Moon (album) 409k, 61k, 28k, 175k to 6/12/14, 189k to 12/11, 112k to 30/8/14 NB figures are always likely to be very out of date when asking about albums that haven't charted for a long time. Anybody know the sales figures for Avicii's biggest hits? Namely Wake Me Up, Hey Brother and Levels? ~1693k, 880k to 20/8, 726k to 6/12/14 |

I'm happy Justin managed to sneak in to the top ten at the last minute (albeit twice, but still...), if he had missed the top 10 EOY it wouldn't really have justified his chart domination. Looks like Sorry and WDYM? will both be million sellers before we know it. And I wouldn't be surprised if Love Yourself manages to break the mark soon. ..and also WAYN? will eventually reach 1 million. so proud

wow at Justin set to score four million sellers in one era (I know WAYN isn't really his song but it's on the album). Very impressive by anyone's standards.

There's actually very little difference, both at the #100 & #200 levels - but you have to remember that 2015 was a 53 week year, compared to the usual 52 for 2014... |

*.* bieber gatecrashing the top10, twice, in week 53 ~ looks like both 'what do you mean?' and 'sorry' will join the million club this week~
8 million sellers within 2015 is mightily impressive, not to mention the top19 all clearing 800k ~ chart sales bonanza |

It is interesting that one direction have their lowest selling album this era yes i know lower album sales but with all the hype around the split/ break id have thought that might counter balance it
However it is fantastic to see little mix getting their besy selling album and even sweeter to be selling better than oned direction thus far |
