It's a fantastic song, but because of the immense overplay I haven't been able to properly enjoy it for ages (well, occasionally I have).
It feels to me like pretty much the most overplayed song of the decade. |

Still a great song and a fantastic lead single that created the right amount of hype to start a new era in her career, plus being at the absolute peak of her career also helped, probably. I've always liked songs with a massive chorus and an empowering message, along with some fantastic stellar production, you just have all the right ingredients for a classic pop song.
Okay it did get killed with extensive overplay (like most big hits do), but now I'm really starting to love this again and it well and truly stands as a proud moment in her already brilliant discography. |
