Next Friday's will be *called* the Xmas #1, but it'll be the week after when the Xmas songs chart most strongly.

Stormzy was 7/1 yesterday, he's now shortened to 3/1
Saying that, LadBaby is as low as 1/5 |

Welp, LadBaby releasing a second version of his song has been enough to push me into cashing out most of the rest of my bet I still thank Bet365 for underestimating Stormzy enough to allow me to make £36.41 which is still pretty good xx (I left one bet on just in case he still does it which would push my winnings up to £60 but I'm feeling now that LadBaby is just not going to allow this to slip away from him).
Now torn over whether to support LadBaby for #1 just so I'm less of an idiot for wimping out, or not support it because he's LadBaby. (Probably still the latter especially as it'd win me another £24 to compensate being a wimp) |

Perplexed at LadBaby opening so well. I can’t recall another time a repeated joke has worked out this well in the charts for a novelty act, was sure it would do 50k at most but he could even open higher than last year!?! Tired innuendo and an old joke are enough for a Xmas No.1 now?

Does LadBaby have this in the bag? I'm tempted to put a large-ish bet on him

I'm this close to just cashing out the last of my bets as well, even if LadBaby's sales slow down a lot in the next couple of days he will just do something else to revive them again (and Stormzy's sales don't look like they're likely to be as high as I thought they'd be anyway based on today's mids so he might not even need any further boosts to hold on at this stage).

Yeh Ladbaby has it in the bag.
What's his odds now? Will you need to put a lot of money on to get anything back now? |

Yeh Ladbaby has it in the bag. What's his odds now? Will you need to put a lot of money on to get anything back now? The odds you can get the most money with him are 2/5 with William Hill. Very tempted to stick £200 on so I'd win £80. He's as low as 1/5 with other bookies EDIT: Just done it I know he will be #01 but once you have money on him you're not so convinced This post has been edited by Jαsє: 16th December 2019, 09:11 PM |

I decided to cash out my last bet on Stormzy after all and put the money from it back on LadBaby so my total winnings will go up from £36.41 to £41.93 (assuming LadBaby now stays #1 which at this point seems pretty much guaranteed). I'll consider that a great success considering the bulk of that came from betting on the wrong horse, so the fantasy triple figure winnings were never going to come to fruition anyway...
I think I'll donate a bit of that to the Trussell Trust to offset the moral questionability of rooting against LadBaby. x |

So is it impossible to make money on Ladbaby now if you if a bet on?

I was tempted by Ellie Goulding last week but thankfully held back.
