24. Spirit
Release Date: October 8, 2007

====================
Total Points: 100.5
Average Score: 6.3
Highest Rater(s): Y'all Starlight (10.0)
Lowest Rater(s): Nina West, One_For_Sorrow, Roba. (3.0)

Produced by Stuart Price and Shawn Everett, Spirit is taken from the band’s greatest hits album Rebel Diamonds released in 2023. The synthesis of synth and rock-pop in the song creates an inviting aura. Also, it caters to audiences that may lie outside of the Killers usuals listeners. It failed to chart and no official music video was made for this single.

If it didn't have Lou Reed on it, I'd probably agree.

19. Run For Cover
Release Date: November 14, 2017

====================
Total Points: 107.0 (More 10’s)
Average Score: 6.7
Highest Rater(s): Dexton, gavindeejay, WhoOdyssey (10.0)
Lowest Rater(s): JulianT (0.0)

Brandon Flowers revealed that Run For Cover was originally written for their 2008 album Day & Age, but it was not completed due to Flowers not being able to finish the second verse of the song at the time. After meeting with Australian musician Alex Cameron in Las Vegas, he finally had a breakthrough as they kept on working together until the verse was finished. The video tells the story of a woman who tries to run away from her ex-lover, backing up the recurring abusive relationship theme of the song's lyrics.

====================
Total Points: 107.5
Average Score: 6.7
Highest Rater(s): WhoOdyssey (10.0)
Lowest Rater(s): JulianT (3.0)

Taken from the compilation Rebel Diamonds, boy concerns a shy, ill-fitting 16-year-old with dreams far bigger than his one-horse hometown – perhaps an autobiographical figure, Brandon? – becoming aware that the world isn’t so bad once you get used to it and it’s best not to sweat the small stuff.

====================
Total Points: 109.5
Average Score: 6.8
Highest Rater(s): WhoOdyssey (10.0)
Lowest Rater(s): dandy* (4.0)

Brandon Flowers describes Dying Breed as "the most romantic lyric" that he’s ever written. The song was released as the fourth and final single from their sixth studio album Imploding The Mirage. The song is characterised by its consistent build until it explodes into the chorus halfway through the song. It also samples from two songs by German bands, namely Hallogallo by Neu! and Moonshake by Can. No music video was released for this single.

16. The Man
Release Date: June 14, 2017

====================
Total Points: 113.0
Average Score: 7.1
Highest Rater(s): WhoOdyssey (11.0)
Lowest Rater(s): Severin (1.0)

The Man is from their fifth studio album, Wonderful Wonderful and was released as the lead single from the album. The artwork for the single features Flowers's youngest son Henry and was shot by Anton Corbijn. The song is a new wave, pop rock, disco-rock, and glam rock song written by the Killers and Jacknife Lee, the latter of whom also produced it. The track contains elements of the 1975 Kool & the Gang song Spirit Of The Boogie. Lyrically, the song is a self-reflection of Brandon Flowers' cockier early years and described by himself as a way of reconciling that wide-eyed character with the man he is now.

Only just catching up with this. Of that last bunch, 'Here With Me' is definitely very under-rated, I'm a sucker for a power ballad and that's up there with the best of them!
'The Man' was pretty good too, a slightly different sound but it suited them.
