Really love 'Up' - fantastic chorus. It'll undoubtedly be big. I think it was a smart decision going with an Olly-by-numbers lead single and saving this to give the album some longevity next year.

I think this'll be the lead single for his album in the states, should be anyway.

This is out December 21st! Could sell with Itunes vouchers etc. I did read this on DS. Has it been confirmed? Only 5 weeks between releases. Clever move to boost Xmas album sales. Guess they had an idea from pre orders that the first single wasn't going to amass the album sales they'd hoped for. |

Any chance of an X Factor final performance? I'd love to see Demi on X Factor UK!

I've listened to this a few times and only just heard the word 'up' at the end of the chorus (- not sure if it's just me who didn't notice it clearly in the song ). It shouldn't matter too much given how prominent Olly is in the UK but it seems like a silly decision from a marketing point of view to have 'Up' as the title, especially following 'Wrapped Up'. If it's pushed in the US they should consider changing it to 'I Never Meant To Break Your Heart', as awkward a title as that is.

Yeah 21st is confirmed & I agree that it'll help to shift the album! They shot the official video & an acoustic video when Demi was over here last week.
You never know Ryan, Demi is well in with Simon. |

Ella Eyre joined Olly to perform 'Up' for his Xmas Live Lounge today. Sounded great from the radio clips but there isn't a video uploaded just yet. Really backing him to get his #1 single this era with this although it could do similarly to 'Dear Darlin' which wouldn't be too bad either.

Ah I guessed Ella Eyre would be singing that on the tour! Quality. Up sounds incredible with Ella, better than with Demi!

Slightly more HQ version of the artwork:
It's good to see the radio play is already building up for this - I LOVED the version with Ella Eyre in the Live Lounge yesterday too! Hopefully, as Demi is unlikely to be available for all promo he does for this, it'd be nice if they got some other female vocalists to do it. Like when James Morrison released 'Broken Strings', he had Gabriella Cilmi and Keisha from Sugababes doing the Nelly Furtado bits on different performances I seem to remember? Just a thought. |
