Shocked that Calvin's off after only 5 weeks, that's his shortest playlist run of recent times!

Glad the Chainsmokers have finally been removed.

And another random late add for Disciples, wasn't their last single added weeks and weeks after it came out too?

Nice to see them add Rockabye.
Rihanna's still releasing tracks from Anti?
Also nice moves for LM and Hailee

Clean Bandit, Disciples, KDA, Mura Masa and Rihanna this week for me wub.gif

Surprised to see Calvin gone though considering it's doing well and they rinsed the previous single.

Yay at LOTB looking like something might happen, I was starting to think it wasn't going to pick up any radio support whatsoever so yay for Radio 1. I still can't imagine it turning into a big hit but maybe with an XF performance or some other promo it might appeal as a winter ballad sort of thing.

Also shocked at how quicky they've removed My Way, it seems to be doing really well still and another big success for Calvin so it's a shame its playlist run is so much shorter than HDIYL/TIWYCF etc. Hopefully they continue to play it a fair amount anyway.

Dua remaining surprises me somewhat, as the single clearly isn't taking off hugely. Shame to say goodbye to Zara, but the single has clearly peaked now.

Yay at Little Mix on A, I imagine it'll stay there for 7 or 8 weeks.

great additions for Clean Bandit, Disciples, KDA, Maroon 5 and Mura Masa dance.gif Not fussed on the new Rihanna single, can't see it being a big hit but if she performs it on X Factor that could give it a boost into the top 40.

It is a surprise that 'My Way' has been removed comparitively quickly but it's one I'm very pleased about. It's one of the, if not the, worst effort of his singles discography - I usually don't mind his vocal but it is particularly monotone on this one and the production is just so bland and empty.

I agree with Josh that it's great to see 'Love on the Brain' on the playlist; not only because I like the song but also because it's a sign that they are indeed going ahead with pushing it as a single. After various performances before it was even announced as a single, it felt like they were preparing for the song to be massive, but since then things have gone awfully quiet.

I'm not so sure, pure pop never gets that long on the playlist. Black Magic was A-listed for 6 weeks. As for Dua, they always seem to love her regardless of how well the songs do.

Surprised James Arthur still isn't A-List given how well the song is doing (and the album will probably do too).

It's doing alright for a song they were pretty much forced to playlist

KDA is growing on me so if that could give Tinashe another top 40 hit over here, that'd be wonderful! Also great to see them support 'Love On The Brain'! Easily the highlight on 'Anti' for me. wub.gif

Shame to see Zara out, I eagerly want that to get a top 10 place.

YAY for Clean Bandit, KDA, Disciples and Rihanna ('Love On The Brain' is certainly the best thing she's done in years).

Posted by: Jack 28th October 2016, 03:21 PM

If Rihanna gets a big performance with Love On The Brain, I think it could surprise people as to how it does.

Lol they're still trying to make BMTH happen? tongue.gif

Yay for KDA/Clean Bandit//RiRi/Maroon 5 biggrin.gif

Nice addition for Clean Bandits and Rihanna but sad to see Zara gone sob.gif

Some great additions this week for Clean Bandit/KDA/Frank Carter/Mura Masa/Maroon 5 and especially Chance the Rapper which is a great track.

Pity Loyle Carner and Giggs didn't get longer tho!

Yeh the last single was with David Guetta and released on the 7/4 and not playlisted until June!

I'm glad they have got rid of My Way quick enough because it gets rinsed by commercial radio!

Same with th comments about LM vs Dua Lipa - it because LM get commercial support gauranteed whereas Dua is still establishing herself in the charts.

Exciting additions for Clean Bandit, Disciples, KDA & Mura Masa this week! cheer.gif
