Hello y'all and welcome to the official Ultimate Video Rate from the saturdays' universe! After much controversy, God-lee allowed me to host the rate for y'all to love and treasure

Please forgive me if I make an inevitable mistake but I will make sure my loyal and trust-worthy henchman, Totto, keep you guys calm.

Rules:

- You must rate each music video done by the Saturdays from 0-10 (with ten being the highest and zerp being the lowest)
- You are allowed to give only one 11 to the music video of your choice.
- It is COMPULSORY to give ONE music video a -1
- You may NOT change your score after it has been submitted. It will most likely already have been counted.
- You may NOT give What About Us more than a 3

This is Round 1 of 3 rounds for this rate where you guys will give your initial rates on which video you think is the best. The deadline is on the 20th October with results announced the following day. Rate wisely as your score may affect the success of a music video in the long-run.

07 | Missing You = Love the solo shots of each of the girls and then the dance routine + video location, definitely one of their best!

05 | If This is Love Good debut video and there isn't anything awkward going on. Shame there's nothing special in it either
04 | Up I just didn't like the video for this.
06 | Issues This marks a significant step-up for the girls for me It's cute and very nice!

09 | Ego One of their more higher budget music videos for sure. It works very well and I loved the concept

11 | Notorious By far my favorite music video done by them! So colorful and entertaining to watch
10 | All Fired Up The dancing and everything was executed so well imo!

-1 | What About Us As much as I love to watch the girls walk down the street and sing in various places, I don't think it should make up an entire video. Except for the baseball break-in, everything else was very dull and meh. I think I'm the only one thinking this though

Issues is just one of those ones where I just don't get why everyone loves it so much. It's a nice song, and I like it, but I find both the video and the song very forgettable! At least 30 Days had some form of humor to the video to make up for the bland song XD

Sorry Issues lovers, it's good, but all the other slow numbers they've released slay it IMO

I appreciate the fact Issues gave Chasing Lights it's peak and it's very memorable to the public but I can't help but not agree with the last; they have much better (in my opinion).

Ego - What About Us was the golden era of The Saturdays IMO.
Disco Love is my fave Sats single but the video was a bit bland and lacked extra sparkle
Work was far too slutty
Gentleman was just pure trash and it wasn't very likeable
Not Giving Up lost a mark for the lack of colour and the bloody Citroen

10 | Disco Love - so fun and very Saturdays
05 | Not Giving Up - not enough going on or enough colour. It would've been better to have more set ups, better choreography and changing colours of the lights.
06 | What Are You Waiting For? - ok, but just a bit meh and too much product placement.

The run of videos from Ego to My Heart Takes Over is pretty amazing.

04 | If This is Love - Pretty boring music video & the weird lighting puts me off
-1 | Up - Just so cringeworthy these days. At the time it was fine, but now..
06 | Issues - It fits the song really nicely imo
06 | Just Can't Get Enough - A very fun music video and the first one where the girls personalities are really shown off
05 | Work - An all round ok music video, but its so different to everything else the band have done/their normal style
07 | Forever is Over - Lots of different and interesting set ups
10 | Ego - The best concept for any of their music videos and I love how there is a plot
05 | Missing You - Sort of bland, but the solo shots of the girls are amazing (Especially Mollie on the bike and Frankie)
09 | Higher - Nothing too spectacular going on but I love the atmosphere of the video
07 | Notorious - A very solid music video, not a massive fan of the secretary aspect but everything else is great
11 | All Fired Up - Their best music video for me. The costumes, dancing, atmosphere, set and sleek look are all on point
09 | My Heart Takes Over - The location is stunning
05 | 30 Days - Another rather bland video, but it earns a mark for having a sense of humour to it
07 | What About Us - The girls all look amazing, the dancing is pretty good and it captures the summer vibe of the song
06 | Gentleman - Kind of cheap looking but I can't help but like it (even if the song is awful)
09 | Disco Love - Fun, cheesy and just a good time
07 | Not Giving Up - I love the sleek look the video has, and the tube light idea, but it loses some marks for the out of sync dancing and the citron
06 | What Are You Waiting For? - Nothing too exciting, they've done better summer videos (Higher/WAU), and the karaoke is pretty stupid, but plus points for different locations

03 | Gentleman (as tacky as it is it's f***ing hilarious to watch sometimes)
07 | Disco Love (wish they had went through the eras/history of girl bands and not decades, would have made for a much more intresting video)
08 | Not Giving Up (I remember being so excited for this video! not their best but Mollie's solo shots are gorgeous)
06 | What Are You Waiting For (Una's hair flip is the only important thing apart from that the video is pretty boring, a Greek version of the What About Us video)

06 | Up - Probably their most recognizable video and the "coloured tights" is often associated with them so I'm glad for that.
05 | Issues - Nice scenery and the girls looked beautiful.
04 | Just Can't Get Enough - Boring.
06 | Work - The last chorus is pretty good. Shame about the video version of the song being so weak.
05 | Forever is Over - Nothing stands out about it.

08 | All Fired Up - Always liked this. Very slick and professional looking. Makes them look very badass.
04 | My Heart Takes Over - Boring, although I like Vanessa's little middle 8 walking through the snow.
05 | 30 Days - Some funny moments but Vanessa's styling was AWFUL and it was very cheap looking.
10 | What About Us - Love everything about it. I remember sitting in college when it premiered and couldn't stop watching it. Love the slow motion hairflips at the end, the "breaking into" the baseball field, the street shots, even Sean Paul's section.
05 | Gentleman - Could have been brilliant but was very messy.
05 | Disco Love - Not a video that I watch alot. Again a brilliant concept but poor and boring execution.
09 | Not Giving Up - Watched this so many times. I love the hip shakes for the "got me, got me" parts, Vanessa is stunning, Mollie's verse slays, Rochelle looks like a superstar, Una kills it at the end with her light swinging and Frankie's section was probably the best of her career. Just let down by the fact the same shots are repeated, there's some sync problems and the lighting on Vanessa's verse was horrible.
07 | What Are You Waiting For? - Sums up their friendship pretty well. Not an amazing video but nice to see them just having fun and it definitely suits the song.

Obviously and All Fired Up will probably win.

I really don't watch their videos, I can't even remember a few of them. So I need to rewatch a few and to be honest the dvd with all the music videos we got from the box are just cheap youtube rips. If This Is Love and a few others are stinky poo quality, while Not Giving Up is amazing. I could made it myself to be honest.

I don't understand the low scores for 30 Days. It's one of the few videos that actually has a concept/storyline and it's a fun video without looking totally cheap. Ranking it lower than the likes of Gentleman and If This Is Love

As much as I love the song Higher, I hope the video doesn't win this again, just because their is some really awful editing in it, in that we get the same scene replayed in a few places, and their a whole chorus of them just sitting on some steps.

I think I'm addicted to What Are You Waiting For. Their shots are so beautiful and so many euphoric moments, even though the video is really about nothing like most of their clips actually.

The concept was good, but poorly executed as you would expect from them. Such a shame.

The video gets really shitty especially towards the end, but the start is good despite the cheapness of it all.
