I have to say that 'So Happy I Could Die' stuck out like a sore thumb when I was listening. I've never considered the song to be a ballad but if, for arguments sake, it was, it did sound similar at all to the other songs. Nevertheless, I do love the song and I judged all the entries as songs opposed to as ballads.

I really can't call this. I don't think it'll be as clear as people think it will be with 'Everytime' winning. I think 'Who Knew' might pull an upset with Leona also getting quite close (although I think she'd probably have won with 'Run'!)

Pleasantly surprised at how well Madonna is doing. I knew it was liked/loved on here, but didn't think it appealed to those that were likely to vote in this contest so I was unsure as to how it would actually do!

'Frozen' is timeless and deserves every ounce of love it gets!

'Call The Shots' is one of the best pop songs ever, but it stuck out like a sore thumb (same with 'So Happy I Could Die') in this line-up of amazing ballads.

Yay for Madonna holding on to #2! Lost out to a very worthy winner in Britney's 'Everytime'. That piano melody alone brings a tear to my eye and the video was like my first experience of heartbreak.

Can't wait for the 'Overtime' remix.

better choices couldn't have been made for the Britney and Madonna songs, so that's a good top 2 there~ woulda preferred Madonna #1 but Everytime is great.

Ended up missing the latter part of this last night, soz, there did seem to be a lack of posts in between the votes, but cheers for hosting, HausofLotti Good winner, would've preferred Madonna's one but #2 for that is a-ok! Lady Gaga so low, perhaps the lack of certainty about whether it is a ballad or not affected it a bit... Definitely one of my faves by her tho

Shame I missed the results! But I did just follow it through from the first page and was very happy with the result - great top 5. So happy Britney won but it was also great to see the love for frozen which I can remember buying on CD (single) on lunch time at school!
